Every time I watch this video I can’t help but shed tears 😭 It’s been almost 4 years and I’m still not over River’s passing 💔 R.I.P sweet angel baby ❤️🙏🏼
I’ve always loved this song. When my dad passed away unexpectedly 2 months ago we buried him in his camo pants. He wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. This song means a lot to me & will always remind me of him. Love you always Dad ❤️💛💓
Today was the second hardest day. for Granger and Amber... and their loss..My hat is off and my heart goes out to you both. and heavy prayers.. I"m am pretty sure River Smith is buried in his Blue Jeans...RIP Riv !!
I lost my grandfather 6 yrs ago on April 20th on my mothers side. We called him papa. He had dementia and this song makes me think of him very much. We miss you papa.
Sitting in my living room with this song on repeat, this song is the only thing that quiets my 4 month old grandson when he is fussy and has trouble going to sleep. It’s my son’s favorite song so they listened to it all the time when his wife was pregnant with my grandson, no surprise that it is such a comfort to him now. Thank you Granger Smith for sharing your amazing talent for music with all of us. Your music touches more lives and gives more comfort than you will ever know. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family always.
I’m sorry to hear about river I fell sorry y’all hope that y’all have a good life and hope that you never have to go through that again and granger smith has stoped me from killing myself I listen to his songs and they remind me that I have people that still love me so I want to thank you for all you do so thank you so much granger

Dad passed away last night ... ma asked my sister and I what he should be wearing during his viewing since he was gonna be cremated... we both said no to a suit that wasn’t him plaids and jeans and his favorite hat .... he was a farmer since the day he was born to the day he passed and his ashes will be spread across his fields the way he wanted this song hits home
My favorite song of all time, this is real country, keep it real Granger, I just wish you were on more radio stations, More people need to hear you, Cheers from Canada Buddy! Yee Yee!!
Just buried one of my best friends in his favorite flannel, boots, and blue jeans. He loved this song. I'm glad he got this wish. 26 years old. RIP Billy
Many people say you should be buried looking your best, so you can meet God and make a good first impression. But in my mind God is the one that gave me the style choice I have so he should be fine with me wearing it to heaven. I would love to be buried in blue jeans, and who is to say you can't be.
josh schaefer you know what really makes sense to me(sarcasm) why the hell are you on a youtube video for country music if you think country music is gay?
I lost my dad last year he was 55 im 24 he had cancer and it came and took him away in 2 months. I miss him so much and thrive to be like him everyday! He always did the right thing! I always remember him wearing nothin but jeans and they were ALWAYS covered in mud! Miss that man like crazy! Thank you man for an awesome song! This really helps me cope with losing him!
So truly sorry for the loss of your Beloved Brother, Nathan❤~I had to say goodbye to my Big Bro 24 years ago and still seems like yesterday at times😔...Yet, we can both know our Brothers are perfectly healed, in Heaven above, and we WILL see them again one day🌠....Wishing You God's Great Comfort and Peace🙏🙏🙏!!!

Yee yee, red dirt country, thanks Granger for such a cool song.Guys like you are keeping country music alive.God bless the U.S.A.and the great state of Texas🤠🤠🇺🇸
How is this not regarded as one of the greatest songs ever? Oh, because it's not about drugs, drinking, money etc, that's right. Sad to see only 1.6m views.... people don't know what they're missing.
Really miss seeing you live Granger, no joke you're the only person I've seen live and I've been to about 5 shows around Burnet :( this song always hits really close to home for me.
granger I'd like to say thank ya buddies your doing a really fine job with your music I so wAnted to do this when I was your age I'm 54 now I've always loved music wAnted to do so much and couldn't I had a family to raise sometimes bright star comes along that shines on us all I consider you one of those stars and for the record I miss all those old country singers both George's bank mettle paycheck cash. coe. 'll those cellS that paved the way. so keep right on shining buddies.
All of his music is true country - I hope he continues to play to his roots. Hard to do in a Sam Hunt era country music that has somehow gone mainstream.
Your songs are amazing. I can relate to almost every single one of them. This song hits the nail right on the head. You are a great artist I've been a long time fan. Next time you come to Kentucky I'm gonna be there. Keep up the great work.
When my time is up, I want to be put into my favorite marinade jar, sat on the shelf until ridding season, when arrives in the north Carolina Smokies, I want to be dusted on the over look at the TN and NC borders, my favorite place is known as The Tail Of the Dragon!!
every time I hear this song I go back to growing up on the family farm in West Virginia with grandad and hits a real heart hitting spot of me and him down on the farm and in the holler
Loved the saying on the headstone. I better be buried in my chaps, Tony Lama's, and wild rags. Awesome video Granger you nailed it! See you in Bozeman!
I'm sure this is all my dad would ask for. And his bible.... Praying we don't have to think about this for a while. He's at stage 4 but the tumors are shrinking.
you are honestly my favorite singer. I listen to ur music all the time. Its crazy that you arent the face of country music because you are what country music is about. this is definitely my favorite song!!! keep up the good work. and u need to come to fort smith arkansas. Cuz if u do i will be there!!!
oops, i think granger smith just became my favorite country artist. Why? because he's real. He writes his own music, and came-up from nothing. Almost zero "artists" are real like that...
He's coming to my state in June. I get to see him for free. He's coming to play in my country station B93's Birthday Bash which they have done for the past 22 years. This being the 23rd time.
I love this video, so happy to see your beautiful family in it as well. This is Brian's favorite song, it fits him to a T. Love you buddy, we will see you when you come back to Pittsburgh again. Wish I could have made the Cleveland show with Brian. Please come back! :)
Today (well yesterday) he released his new single "something like that." Now I know music is subjective and I don't know the ins and outs of the music business, but I'm sure many will agree with me in saying it doesn't compare to his older music. It pains me to see one of my favorite artists change his style. This is an issue with the industry today and I think George Strait definitely sums it up with his song "Kicked out of country." Granger, I don't know if you'll ever read this, but you don't have to go far in the comments to see how deeply this song resonates with people. It's personally one of my favorite songs done by you. I just want you to remember - this is where you came from and I hope you know where your going.
