My Great Uncles and Grandfather were WWII, Roland didn't make it home. My Father was Vietnam Era, many friends/cousins/etc have served since, and knowing someone appreciates it means the world to all of them, or would to those not gone ahead. Granger obviously has a good head on his shoulders, and does amazing things, it's why people love him.

I wish that this song came out 1 month sooner, my grandfather was a US Marine, and he passed on October 29th, it made us all tear up when those staff sergeant Marines walked down the isle, I would've played this song at the funeral if it were out sooner. Thank you to all those who have served the United States of America

Now an annual listen to 'THEY WERE THERE' as I am going to adopt this as a Veterans Day tradition, like Thomas Caldwell noted he does in his comments to one of our YeeYee Brave Military greats, Thomas Shipp, who gave Granger a YeeYee Flag with the names of his fallen but not forgotten military brothers! That Granger documentary honoring these Heros was a military gold star! Walking in their boots, literally in their honor.

He was so emotional due to losing his son and the crowd really went crazy for him and were so happy he was there to perform for us even though I wouldn’t have blamed him if he couldn’t make it. Sebastian Colding Just saying he is up there with Kane Brown and he’ll be touring with him in just a few weeks :) He’s by far the nicest guy ever I’ve been fortunate enough to like form relationships with his entire crew over my 19 shows 😂 #ihaveaproblem #cheaperthantherapy Yee Yee !

@@teddavis942 Kane Brown has a great voice, and interesting style. No autotune. Not the most country artist but don't knock his style. Both are very talented.

Thank you for your service veterans and soldiers now. The kids of tomorrow don't need to fear as you all have or are keeping them safe. As a Boy Scout Of America, I am thankful to be in the land of the brave and free.

I share this video with the families of LTC Todd Clark, LTC Jaimie Leonard, SGT Edward H Bolen, and LEP Joseph Morabito. I was the lucky one that made it home and it is our duty to remember them and honor their courage.
