1st off I love how candid Grant was with his answers, this is the type of answers fans are craving to hear. He answered the question and then gave us even more insight from his perspective. As a basketball nerd I have to thank you guys. I appreciated his insight into the differences between the two coaches and the differences from last year's situation. about his comments, for me he just confirmed what the eye test was telling me. Joe was more offensively focused than Ime. but because Joe didn't have a full offseason to establish what he wanted his identity to be, I think him, and the players struggled to find their identity during the season. & the part about Joe's philosophy worries me a little I don't agree with the idea of we need to shoot x amount of 3's a game

As a Celtics fan, I wish Grant Williams all the best in his career. I loved his work ethic and dedication to improvement. For those that haven't followed his career, Grant Williams was mocked and maligned by the fanbase in his rookie season because he could not hit a three point shot for the first half or more of the season. Look at him now, shooting around 38% from beyond while still being a high level defender. That speaks to a great work ethic and determination. The Mavs got a great player who should pair perfectly with Luka and Kyrie. As for firing Ime, that is still one of the weirdest cases of poor management by the Celtics ownership. Supposedly, the investigation was so secret that even the star players couldn't be brought in. Yet it was so non-secret that someone (almost certainly within the management/ownership group) leaked it to the media? Meanwhile, Ime gets his name blackened, dragged through the mud and fired...but not a peep about what happened to the female? Despite the fact that it was billed by ownership as 'consensual' and therefore the woman is just as much to blame as the man? Moreover, you fired a Finals Head Coach over something that (rightly or wrongly) goes on all the time in pro-sports? Nothing about this made any sense and, even if you agree with the resolution, there's no denying that it was horrifically mismanaged by the Celtics management/ownership group. That debacle had a clear and obvious impact on the team this past season. Once again, the greatest opponent for the Boston Celtics is the Celtics ownership group. Period. Plain and simple. This is an ownership group that seems determined to do everything possible NOT to win.

Basically they had no leadership cause they lost their coach. Thats exactly what I seen to when they were playing. They didn’t have that solid grit and determination they had the season prior. That finals year they were a hard nose and consistent team. Last season was a rollercoaster🎢

Grant Williams is going to play ten years in this league. Mazzula gets a lot of criticism for his the season ended, but Ime deserves a lot of blame because he did himself and the team no favors by trying to be a “Workplace Casanova.”

We have seen again how numbers don't mean nothing in playoffs, it's obvious that we all know that Celtics need to learn from last season mistakes we also all know what they are but my question is will there be chemistry without Williams and Smart and if Jaylen get that money he better do more than just better 🖖🏻🤘🏻✌🏼👋🏻

I didn't have barely scoring more than 80 on my bingo card. But then again I didn't have being down 0-3 on it either. What a weirdly awful series that was for Boston. Hopeful they can use it as fuel go C's
@alec57
@alec57 9 месяцев назад
@@jfireball123Eh, more of a lack of metal structure on the Celtics if anything. I mean, the Heat didn't exactly sweep the series. They broke down and gave up multiple games in a row. Plus, they got absolutely steamrolled in the championship series lol. Only one game seperated them and the Celtics at the end of it. Heat lost 7 out of 9 of their last playoff games...mental what?
