As per usual, gameplay wins out at the end of the day. If the main gameplay loop isn't fun to engage with, plain and simple the game isn't good. Good graphics is much the same as good music is when it comes to games. Good music can't make a bad game good, but it can make a good game great. The same is true with graphics, they can't make a bad game good but they can make a good game great. The opposite is also true though, bad graphics can make a bad game awful.
I don't give two shits about graphics (I've been rocking a BenQ 1080p 60hz monitor since 2011 with my consoles) but I'd ALWAYS pick Series S/X or PS5 over the last gen counterparts simply because of the ENORMOUS loading time bump which simply can not be overlooked with the quality of life that brings to gaming.
