I couldn't get over the free variable thing for a while till I realized you could add y to both sides of the equation to prove it doesn't matter what y is
I just want to make the curve look 3d and correspond over one face of a tetra hedron branching out the radi of an inner topology filled with centered tetra hedrons with their curved surfaces facing out. the radius change makes a progression line graph which can be changed to mmimmick 3d on a 2d graph.
