Only Matt would cut scraps this small. Dang you. You know what you’ve done now? Now I have to go start saving all my little damn scraps again. I used to save tons of them when I had the brother scan cut, but now I use graphtec. I guess I have to start saving my tiny scraps again.
Nice trick. Now, do you have a trick for the wrinkle forming on rolls when unrolling them, especially after some time, tight rolls are a pain in the back!!
Nice to know the setting is there. However, all you need to do is cover that back sensor with something, correct? Also, does it disable Both, or just the back? That was unclear.
You could cover it, but using the disable menu might keep things from being complex if it needs the sensor covered the full time. I believe he used the plural sensors, so it should disable both, yes. -TRW Crystal
@@TheRhinestoneWorld … I believe in the past, I’ve used a small scrap of vinyl to cover that sensor on a [much] older machine. You can just cut/peel off part of the backing and adhere it before the sensor, so the portion with the backing [not the adhesive part], covers the sensor. In lieu of having the convenient option of turning them off in a menu… or, in the case of Only fooling the back sensor to keep the front one functional, you can give this a try. One must evaluate the actual function on one’s own machine, but this is a very quick solution to implement, and un-implement. Especially if you have others around who can’t be bothered with menus.
I had to read a lot of forums on google, but this seems to be just how the Graphtec behaves. There was one answer that may hopefully be helpful: "When loading the vinyl, make sure the pinch rollers are above a grit roller (a rougher part underneath the vinyl). I was finally able to load a 12" wide vinyl and the machine wouldn't continually say realign rollers." (Credit: Momoftwins on US Cutter forums - forum.uscutter.com) Hope that helps! -TRW Crystal
After doing a Google search, we read that you can turn off your Graphtec, move the blade holder to the center of the machine (have the pinch rollers up when doing this), then turn the machine on. If that does not clear the error code, you will need to contact Graphtec directly for assistance. It could be the machine is defective or you have another issue they'd need to assist with. Good Luck! -TRW Pilar
