In this episode of GRASSMEN TV, Donkey and Kirstie bring the Fiat down to Armstrong Machinery in Co. Dublin to finish her off in time for filming 'Twist of Fiat'. All she needed was the turbo to be fitted...
Thanks for sharing this video guys.. I had a Fiat 110/90 for two years when I worked for agricultural contractor.. Christ I just realised it was 27 years ago. Remember it like yesterday when she was delivered by Agro Power Cork Main Fiat dealer.
Low blow set up on the 7740- tiny compressor and a huge exhaust housing, comes on boost right at the bottom end and fades out at high rpm - very grunty motor.
I drove a late Blue 110-90 on a farm I worked on and it had a great engine but hated the cab! Half an hour into work and it was like an oven and not a very comfy oven at that...
James Ogilvie I used to sit 10 - 12 hours a day in one of these. Still have it. I loved the cab in design wise. The comfort didn’t bother me. Thought it was pretty good. But it was mainly road use
Great Video That young mechanic would get a job in my neck of the woods Australia I guess you all would Did he say 160 at the shaft after Turbo fitted Darn Kirsty u will blow the arse out it if you drive it like on test run Rem more horses = more heat so watch you Temp Kirsty Sorry I cant recall the Truckers name , but if I had stayed going up I would have frozen on me bazzokas of as I would have come via the artic , Bring Kirsty, she knows her directions
Nice tractor . Shame its only half a job. Engine needs pistons changed . Sure they said kit from a 130 90. Pistons same dimensions but reinforced top ring groove .top ring breaks after a time of heavy work . Did all this 25 years ago .
The oil pressure of the engine reached that plain bearing in less than a second probably. The oil delay in the waste pipe only demonstrates that not a hell of alot of oil bleeds through the bearing particularily when oil is cool. He'd most likely have filled the little gallery as conecting the feed pipe up just to be double sure
Greetings from Ukraine. I want to ask you, as an expert, bought a tractor, Fiat 45- 66s, tag on gearboxes marked 55-66v, also installed turbine on the engine, whether it is possible, whether the factory installation of the turbine, and whether it will not harm the engine.
Had that whole UP and DOWN conversation so many times. I'm in Belfast and my girlfriend lives in Derry/Londonderry and she says up to Belfast which is just WRONG
i want to do a turbo project on my 9090. It seems to be getting extra fuel cause its smoking a lot with load. given its already getting extra fuel, do i need to trouble the fuel pump?
for a german this english is sometimes strange . i have to hear it twice the time to understand; but at the end of the vid i get used to it. Which dialect is it or form where are you ? besides , you drove on the wrong side ....hahaha ;-) Are the pistons oil spreaded from below too ? And why did´nt you adjust the fuel injection pump to a higher amount when on full throttle, didnt it run to much lean ? And the time the oil needs from the engine to the turbo is a bit long, perhaps a non return valve (check valve) should prevent from draining the turbo.
... hello folks, if you will not carry out corresponding changes and adaptions in the engine(oil cooler, reduce compression etc.), it could be blow up in extreme case . From ~100HP up to 160 ? that's far too hard for this engine under strong working conditions :( I wish you it will last long ...
