Idc I can literally feel the slight welcome breeze whooshing about the crowd. The light of love feelings. The quiteness of the crowd getting off by sweating their azzes off dancing non stop w those groovy sounds and feeling so blessed for every moment
RU-vid music (their version of Spotify) has so much live dead, but they only have the studio and like one or two live versions of this song, it's weird. Harder to find different live versions of this song then most other stuff
This was in the leadup years to the worst of his addiction (he collapsed on stage a little over 2 years later). He was doing a LOT of heroin and cocaine during this Era.
On record anyway. Touch came out that year as well, on record. But they been jammin that one since '82. Check out 10/10/82 at the Frost Amphitheater if you haven't yet. Lost Sailor into Saint of Circumstance into Touch of Grey. One of my favorite Dead moments.
