I also got my Gratkit from Kickstarter as well. It turns out the delivery was so late, I just threw the thing on shelf and forgot about it. I pulled it out the other day and tried to use it. I could not agree with you any more. The UI on the box is just abysmal. It seems like the designers were worried more about the led colors than anything else. I finally managed to get the time and temperature set, but I have been unable to figure out how to start the fan and begin the drying process. So, I thought the app would be much easier to use. Yes, it’s pointless to need an app, but perhaps it would make the system function. I struggled with the phone app, the Gratkit was recognized but as of yet, I still can’t control the mess. This thing is useless!!!! I have a recent Creality dryer that I bought in the US, where I live for $59.95. It works flawlessly. There have been some reports of the humidity sensor not functioning, but my unit works just fine.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I think if you already have it, you can make it work, specially if you are not changing filament type that often, and as a dryer, and even spool holder, it does its job. That said, there are easier devices out there, which will give you similar result.

I bought it when it was kickstarter and it toke them much longer than expected. But this is Kickstarter and it’s good to get at the end what you was paying for. What I personally don’t get is also the mobile app. You already have an interface wireless why not supporting an interface to Klipper to let people play with lights and temperature profile. Do you need that? - NO - but this is what people love to play with …. Maybe some people will take the idea and just use the hardware as it is. Who knows?

Yeah,but Klipper is not suitable for everyone,maybe you use it frequently.

Read the Manual and you are not using 15 minutes to use the ui.

Yeah. At the end I had to read the manual, and even after reading it I had troubles. A good UI should be self explanatory and shouldn’t need you to read a manual.
