Of all of the celebrities that have passed within the last few years, he was one of them that really hit me Such an icon of 90s country. He was one that I really wanted to catch in concert RIP Joe Diffie Keep that jukebox playing
I really enjoyed listening to Joe Diffie's music, as a matter of fact, back in the early 1990's, Joe came and performed at the Jimmie Rodgers Festival in my hometown, Meridian Mississippi at the Temple Theater, and I was at his concert, and after the show, I had my picture taken with him backstage and I'll always remember that too, Joe seemed like such a nice guy as well, sure do miss him, I have the picture that was taken of me & my mom with Joe Diffie after his performance
@@mattensor3431 backe. In the 90. He came. Too Zanesville. Ohio. Took. Him out. Four. A round. If. Golf and ate dinner. He. Wass. My every. Think. Hade a good 👍😊. Good time love and miss you. Joe diffie
My mom was born in 42, myself 62, I was introduced to music from the fifties through the early seventies thanks to my mom from there I loved country, rock, and pop, l very much enjoyed Joe Diffie's songs, I truly miss the older country music, the sound and lyrics of the music just isn't the same, there are a few artist now days but very few, thanks for sharing new subscriber from Alabama, RIP JOE
Thank you so much!!!My whole family are Diffie fans & have been for over 30 years!I have Google it I could not tell you how many ways trying to find this out. Our summers or fall will never be the same. .we always looked to see how far we had to go to see Joe....he was always such a sweet person...we followed him for so many years he knew us by first name...when singing he would see us in the crowd and smile that beautiful Diffie man smile & wave. We love Joe!! I will make the trip to pay honor to a man that means so much & was such a part of our life!!God bless Joe Diffie for being the great person he was & all the enjoyment & great memories we have with him that I hold dear in my heart!!❤
Yes we remember Joe Diffie. Many of his songs not to mention his videos. He was really a down to earth guy, loved his fans. My husband often played guitar and singed back up for many country bands. We were young, newly married. He made a point to meet a lot of artist, was happy to help with background vocals and guitar, that song prop me up beside the jukebox if I die was halarious and so much fun. You mentioned so many that we loved and still love. Sad they connected his death to the virus, how many fans believe it. So glad you cleared that up. You not wanting to bother asking staff to open up, I understand, you a real down to earth . But many will give you the key, you let yourself in, trust me they don't mind. Some they keep locked for a reason. You can get in, many do that. Maybe next time you can go ask and they either give you the key, true sometimes they are busy, that's why you go ask. Either way we got a chance to see. You are front and honest, I appreciate that. How do I know about the key. We did it asked to get inside a locked area, they handed over the key. They guy was Wilson Pickett. Wicked pickett.we was in the area decided to chance it. He's inside not outside as find a grave said. It's his mother and father that's buried on the grounds. They lady just smiled, handed over the key, told us to look around, pay our respects. The reason they keep certain areas locked is because they can't see that area and it's kept clean, very nice inside, by doing that it keep out vandals, others you take mementos. They play it safe. Good job. A true southern gentleman has respect. Take care, be safe on the Back roads, God Bless. My whole family love and respect you.✌️🙌👍🙏💜🥰🙂👋. Love, respect and positivity always.vee and family.🥰👋.
Joe Diffie was one of the best singers to ever hit Nashville. It's very sad that Covid virus had to take so many of our loved ones away. May they all rest in peace.
I really liked Joe Diffie’s music a lot in the 90’s and I would listen to him on some country music radio stations I listened to out of Fresno, California when I was living there from 1989 to 1995 attending college at California State University, Fresno. After he died, I went and got his CD of his greatest hits through Amazon and listened to it and really loved listening to his great songs again. Sorry he had to die when COVID-19 was new and early in this country at the time, but if he lung cancer that would beat him more than COVID-19.
A good song I also liked was “Ships that don’t come in”, if he died of lung disease instead of COVID-19, I do wonder if he could have been a heavy smoker too. Even in pictures record labels are good at promoting what they want the public to see.
🎼Now more than once the town has discovered Painting over it ain't no use There ain't no paint in the world that'll cover it The heart keeps showing through … In John Deere green, on a hot summer night He wrote "Billy Bob loves Charlene" in letters three foot high And the whole town said the fool should've used red But it looked good to Charlene In John Deere green….
I away loved Joe Diffie's music in my teens I still listen to it today &love it just as much now &I am not suprised that he didn't pass from covid because they liked to say anyone who passed had covid even though his passing came as a big sock like Niomi 's my they rest in peace. 😔💔💙🌹🌷
Amazing Job Thank You!! I Love your videos and I Love Love Country Music all my Life Country Music has been a friend to me. Its been a Blessing.your videos are very inforamitive, and appreciated. Country Music is the Back bone of our Country. Keep these videos comming and we will keep watcking.. God Bless..
Joe Diffie had maybe the best voice in all of country music. I think about all those Gibson guitars and where are they at here in 2023. Thanks for doing this!
Interesting equipment issues failing at the cemetery. ALSO FYI per his wife, “There have been some untrue statements about my late husband that are false and hurtful,” Tara Terpening Diffie said. “Joe did not have lung cancer and was a healthy, loving father, husband and friend. He also kept a very busy touring schedule and loved his fans who’ve supported him all these years.”
Thank you for that video on & about Joe.. he was one of my favorite country artists. I heard about it on the radio.. but I have been led to believe, that the "Pick Up Man" passed of COVID-19..well you said his wife said what he passed of.. & she would know!! Thank you again.
@@Chrystal_Hendrix he never had fucking COVID lung cancer took him out COVID is a fake ass disease idc what y'all believe if u believe covids real ur honestly hilarious
Thanks for the video. I really enjoyed it. I have visited a few in Nashville area and seen where other Country Music artists are buried. However, I did not know that Joe Diffie was cremated and his place of burial is on our list to see along with Keith Whitley’s! Thanks again for your video.
Yes I do. I honestly didn’t want to go back for a 4th time and do it again. I knew what I did was ok but I have a different standard on how I put out content. Thanks for the support. It does mean a lot. I’m glad this one is finished.
Joe your was so golden I loved all your music wish you was still here brother nothing better then fishing with your music playing the fish start biting like crazy joe you was the man gif bless you and your family we love you brother
It wasn't fucking COVID that's a fake ass disease if anything he died of some other disease like copid or something similar they call it "COVID" when they have no true cause....
You can bet I will do that one. She is a country music legend. I want to give it some time before I go. I try to give the person who passed some time to rest before I go and film. One of those weird things I believe in.
I love your videos man. Very informative and interesting to see different celebrities.... thank you for sharing this content with us.... keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching! It’s the support from everyone that keeps me going. I enjoy making the videos, but I’m truly more happy that the viewer gets to see the grave. Some people may not have the means or can’t even leave the house and I get to be the vessel for them to see their favorite persons final resting place. Got a little to deep there but that’s what I think about when you and I get to go to these places.
I liked Joe Diffie's music, but I could never get passed the fact that Davey Allison caught him (Diffie) in bed with his wife on the day Davy died in the helicopter crash. It would have never gotten out, but Red Farmer let the cat out of the bag.
Tragic that Joe died at a relatively young age. I like those glass columbarium because often times there are mementos that are there along with the urn.
in omaha nebraska i saw joe diffie in conert at aksarben and georrge strait and joe was not even well known yet and i won the tickets 1991 20.00 for 2 tickets it july 5th row but u couldnt go to the stge not close i watched his vidios really good fun concert
*¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡""I FIRST-HEARD JOE DIFFIE SING ON A COUNTRY-MUSIC STATION IN CHICAGO, ""I CAN'T RECALL WHICHSONG IT WAS AT THETIME, ""AFTERTHAT I BEGAN TO BUY-HISMUSIC, ""I HAVE-ENJOYED IT EVERSINCE, ""IT WASCERTAINLY HURTFUL TO HEARTHAT HE-DIED RELATIVELY-YOUNG, ""SINCE THEINTRODUCTION OF RU-vid SINCE 2011 I ENJOY HISMUSIC BOTH ON CD's AND THEINTERNET""!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
Joe Diffie died of covid and not cancer, even his wife said so. Loved the video though, beautiful cemetery. Like all of your videos as well. Keep up the great work.
I’m happy to learn that Joe didn’t die of coronavirus it’s terrible that the news media would lie about a thing like that just to scare people and pump up the fake numbers. I traveled the country and bands during that time of Joe’s career we did a whole bunch of his songs they were excellent songs and everyone loved them rest in peace Joe you’re missed very much!
Everything is pretty accurate except you left out 3 of his kids , 2 from his second marriage to Debbie and his third wife, Theresa who was married to him for 17 years with his youngest daughter.
Yeah I imagine working around something like that at night can be creepy. Out of all the occupations I’ve had this is the best. I haven’t had a bad experience in a cemetery yet with any employee and everyone looks more confused like they don’t know what I’m doing especially if it’s a smaller cemetery with a lesser known singer or star.
