Indoor trainer Angst? Definitely no sloppy tracks, mud, rocks, taking wrong turn, water, traffic, steam rollers, rain, wind, gates, rough tracks, yeehaas, nighttime lights, train rides, Devon pasties, gates, map reading, car driving, punctures, traffic jams, traffic lights, no need for me to video the bike ride, worry about falling off, walking bike up steep rocky cliff, choosing which rut to ride in, misty fog, lost views. Yes, you are correct, Mike, when I am cycling uphill, non-stop, up the Stelvio, I am missing a great deal of cycling experiences. (All the ones I have experienced historically). Thanks for the ride Mike Julie. Keep ‘em coming. I have ridden two of the Stelvio Pass climbs, with two more to go.
Oh, I cycle in fresh air, never inside a building. This is Australia down ere. Outside is great. I cycle in the car port in winter and under the verandah in summer. Saves frostbite, sunburn and protects against hail. Oh, the greyhound supervises. Cheers.
Thanks Steve, each year we have the Dorset Steam Fair, it's been a pretty big deal for as long as I can remember so not unusual to see the occasional steam engine on the roads.
Great ride and elevation Mike, Julie and company. Well done. Looks as if some of those tracks could give a few back side twitching moments. Great video well done nice job.
them steam powered locomotives was the first machinery to lay smooth roads me uncle used them years a go he past away now but i always remember him when I hit a pot hole lol
