To anyone watching… always grease the plunger/ pushrod when you have this apart.. even though it has a short stroke it will gall the metal and wear out a lot faster.. there is no engine oil to this at all.. the cam face, yes.. pushrod no.. Also.. an air cooled engine needs to run a just little rich compared to a liquid cooled engine.. don’t run them as lean as you would a modern high compression OHV engine. They will last longer. This is a very good video though.. and his tuning method and insights are spot on.
Not sure if this will be seen but where can I get the flat plate style point mount? I have a CCK in a Melroe Bobcat with a box style mount and it is a HUGE PITA!
