Dear CT, are you sure that it is the correct front axle? As you said it I wrote it... Isn't the frame head different before and after 1966? Maybe a bit too personally, but what ist the chassisnumber of this "64"? Maybe they changed the frame after an accident or because of rust.... Best regards from Good Old Germany
On mine those back triangle windows would open and when the AC was broke they were life savers lol…I was crying when the pressure washer was hitting them.
If you would wash your car in the driveway here in Germany like this, Police will show up because strictly "verboten". Nobody seems to care in the USA, I see it all the time 😁
@@CTmoog as far as i know, carwashing in Germany is mostly prohibited. You can wash your car just in the defined spots, like car wash stations (by hand or with a pressure washer, with separated soap head), or gas stations where is a possibility of using a car wash machine. Washing car at home (in your yard) or street in front of your house is forbidden. You can pay a visible amount of money as a fine. I think it is for the environment protection. Waste water can be handled properly in the sewers by the water companies... I am living outside of Germany, but in Europe.
I watched another youtuber called "Ronald Finger" or something, He spent 5 years restoring his 86' Fiero. He has a lot of useful information about where he got parts and stuff for his restore.
I got my ‘84 Fiero when it was 4 years old and I was 17 years old. I used to look at it and wonder if someday people would be restoring them. I guess I now have my answer! Looking at this car now “showing it’s age” at 40 years old really makes me feel old! It should be a fun car to play around with!

Keep ur coolant tubes from being bent never jack under the body. All ways keep ur radiator clean and bug free. If u ever put new antifreeze in make u put the front of the car in the air so no air bubbles are trapped. They maybe a air bleeder on the thermostat housing just fill it up and and open the bleeder.on ur headlights under ur hood they should b 2 relays they control ur up and down of ur headlight doors. Pontiac firebird head light doors should be the same. If u wonder why there holes in seat headrest those are speakers.some models had a sub woofer on the passenger side under the dash and console but I think they were on the v6 gt models. If u need parts u can go to the Fiero store hey have everything you need for ur fiero.i wish u were closer to me here in Maine I'd help u with it and I'd have u help me on my 66 beetle need some welding done. If u ever need me for anything got my profile on Facebook. Name David randell my profile pic is a blue beetle
There’s a guy who makes reproduction seat covers and sales the foam. I think Ronald Finger has a link and used him when he restored his fiero. He did a good video series on a 2m4.
Check out a product called Puro car cleaning. It’s a car cleaner/ degreaser that works fantastic on all surfaces of a car. I think it would help bring the car to the next level. The Guys at WD DETAILING created it and use it on all their cars.
Calico Jack's was located at 3501 SW 2nd Ave Gainesville, Fl 32607 According to Yelp it's temporarily closed but Yelpers report this location has closed. Looks like they had a location in Tallahassee but it's closed.
