It seems like you're referencing the connection between Vybz Kartel, the Jamaican dancehall artist, and discussions about Graves' disease, possibly due to his public health issues. Graves' disease is an autoimmune disorder affecting the thyroid, leading to symptoms like weight loss, anxiety, and bulging eyes. While it’s an interesting link to make, it’s essential to focus on the medical aspects of the condition for proper understanding and management.

I was misdiagnosed with Graves disease and was at the point of thyroid removal and a lifetime of maintenance medication. Found an article by 2 MDs at the Texas Heart Institute entitled Misdiagnosis of Graves Disease Due to Aspartame Poisoning. I started reading labels and removed aspartame from my diet (it's in everything "diet") and symptoms completely disappeared within 60 days.

Mine was simply switching from Iqos to Iluma which caused it. It would be tragic to remove your thyroid gland, doctors always treat the effect, never the cause. And remember, it’s very rare that your thyroid is causing problems directly, it’s almost certain an indirect cause that you need to find.

Change your diet. Exercise. Get at least 20 mins of direct sunlight a day. The major factor is to change your diet. Keto diet with intermittent fasting.

I have hyperthyroidism but I haven't been diagnosed with graves yet. For years doing a fasting routine of twice a week. And always low carb, but recently carnivore. The hyperthyroidism isn't getting any better, but it's not getting any worse either. I've refused to take the meds so far. My symptoms are very slight.

@scottcarr1534 9 месяцев назад
@@whereami2130 No it is. You just need to change your diet to fit your body type and to improve your gut biome. It is HYPER important to, not only your physical well being, but to your mental well being. I had cancer and cured my particular affliction, with much study and constant research. GUT BIOME - study it. A GREAT place to start is by taking N Acetyl Cysteine. - Also look into Taurine - these are majorly important amino acids for good health. Best of luck to you.

When I had first gotten the symptoms of Graves', i binged a lot, and overate so much that i was scared to gain too much weight rapidly (even though my weight never increased). So i cut sugars abruptly and started intermittent fasting. The result: I dropped weight even faster. I got from 54 to nearly 40kg being 1,58m tall. I lost my period for this whole time. It was the worst since i thought it was an ED and resulted to be Graves'. I wouldn't do intermittent fasting when it comes back and just eat normally, trying not to get overexcited if i overeat again. My body needs this since it burns everything away and converts it energy which is not usable for the body.

Hello doctor.. I suffer from essential tremor, not Parkinson's disease. When I hold a glass of water, my hand trembles and causes me embarrassment. My husband had graves disease about 10 years ago and was cured! Lately he gets tired a lot, sleepy no energy and is losing weight! He also clears his throat for mucus he gets! The doctors have given him several tests, MRI, Catscan and can’t find the problem! They say no allergies either! Has anyone gone through this before after Graves’ disease?
