hi, I would ask you a question. I have an old CNC Fanuc Sigma VC1000 with the same serial port 25 pin DB25 and I would monitoring this machine using an ESP32. Not only monitoring but also send it the gcode. In your opinion I'm able to do this using this shield (in your video)? For monitoring I mean sending the machine some code for example D600 and the machine could answer me about the status: stop, word, allarm, type allarm. Sending gcode I don't know yet.

Funciona apenas com o GRBL 1.1? Tipo eu tenho uma Shield V4 e o espaço só dá com a versão 0.9i.

Maker Tutor I tried using bluetooth but found it was not fast enough. When milling pcb's, the software I used, to create the g code for the pcb, converted all arcs to a series of G1 commands instead of using circular interpolation i.e. G2 or G3. The result is many lines of code sent very quickly and bluetooth could not keep up. This resulted in the machine "stuttering". If the feedrate was slowed right down it would work O.K. It would work O.K. using a usb connection.

Found any lagging with USB cable or it's still working fine. Can it process 20000 lines of code smoothly

@@Hemaram_Jangid It works with no problems when connected via usb cable. Maybe I was doing something wrong with bluetooth. I use my cnc for producing pcb's so programs can be quite long. I have not encountered any problems so far.

Nice little demo. Does this mean you can send actual G-code programs from your phone to GRBL? Or would you just use this to jog the machine?
