How hard should it be to turn center diff. Cud it be too tight and over heating motor. I bought a brand new one for a Helion Avenge mt and it doesn’t spin too easy but isnt that the point of using heavier fluid? Thanx for any help!
Its all dependant on how you want the truck to behave, have you pulled it apart and check the condition of the gears? If there is oil in there? My opinion it should be mildly firm to rotate the diff especially if you havent upgraded the esc in the helion. I have an Invictus and it came with a 35amp esc and on 3s the motor gets pretty warm. I added a heat sink and fan to the motor and it has helped. But my helion doesn't have a slipper nor a center diff. Its basically a spool so that could be why mine heats up pretty good as well. A 50k in the center should with pretty well.
