@CircaMay85 Yeah, I would probably have to agree, although I am an Indians fan. Of course, Ken Griffey, Jr. cannot bound to any one team. He was a truly respectable player and an important part of baseball history. One of the greatest men to ever play the game. By the way, he didn't cheat in the home run races either. For this reason, I think he is the true winner.
badass video...old school stuff, Bo Jackson is the greatest athlete of all time, freak at football and baseball. What more do you need? Keep the vids coming!
@lena96 Ah, that's the great thing about sports... It brings people together. Well, it's supposed to anyway. But yeah, I think you're right. lol, the catcher who feel into the dugout ... :D Have a great week! :) :) Thanks for watching/the comment.
baseball is the hardest game in my mind and reacquires the most team work. theres no planing a play like these. they have to look and react really fast. the double plays are harder still they have to know where to throw the ball before they catch it and the person has to be ready to catch the ball in a split second. plus the ball is so small. and they jump really far and its not like there landing on a cloud its hard ground.
@emazon19921 It's no worries. It was produced by a company that made plaques and lithographs and the like so yeah, it's not really that good. :D I do, however like some of the plays.
Ahahaha! Yes,it is pretty crappy quality... But I console myself with the fact that I didn't make the video. Found it on some old software disc made in 1994. As kids, we watched it, then got bored with it and went outside to play some baseball. Good times, lol...
The last one was more of a good recovery after he read the fly incorrectly.. A stellar recovery but it would have been much less impressive had he not misread the ball
Not sure what year this is from...it's definitely Mel Allen on "This Week In Baseball"...Mattingly means pre '96, Bo Jackson in a Chisox uniform means AFTER '89 or '90...WAIT! Gallego played for Yankees from 1992 to 1994 . so somewhere in there.
@whatch4ever the skill cap of baseball is much higher than any other sport. First if all, try hitting an 80mph breaking ball from only 64ft away, or a 95mph fastball from the same distance. Also, these outfielders are about 250-300 ft away from where the ball was hit, to even be able to locate the ball from that distance takes skill. Therefore your argument is invalid.
And people say baeball is boring. Pah, I'd like to see a football player grab a huge football in midair like the these players caught a small baseball.
these are only catches wich r of the same type but of different players. watch d video fr first 30 secs and its the same fr the whole video. the first 30 secs are all that u want
@SOULBEROCKS lol you guys crack me up...You see, I had this old software disc with MLB wallpapers and other various junk. It made after the 1993 season, I think. It was just laying around and so I ripped the videos and oh man, is the quality horrible... Sorry 'bout that, but thanks for watching anyway. I hope you found enjoyment in it somehow. Take care! ;თ
