Great Games You Can Beat in a Weekend 

What's up Playboys. This video took a little while to put together so a few things have changed since I wrote/recorded the script: - DuckStation is a relatively new PS1 emulator from some of the devs behind Dolphin that's become very popular in the last few weeks. I'm a big fan of it's simple GUI, real time rendering changes and PGXP implementation. Mednafen/Beetle is probably a tiny bit more accurate at this stage, but unless you're some professional hot dog eater who notices extremely minor inaccuracies, DuckStation is gonna be the easiest way for emulation-noobs to play MediEvil. - The Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition has received a new update which fixes some of the awkward new images I mentioned at 10:36. I haven't seen all of them, but the ones they showcased in the latest update trailer seemed pretty decent. But in spite of these changes, I still think it's a bit weird to draw over Team Silent's original artwork like this. The original artwork isn't even that low-res either, so I reckon still just skip the installation of that image enhancement pack, you're not missing out on much.

VVVVVV is also a great game to beat in a weekend, took me just a day or two to complete it and it was really fun! not that difficult, but it's got it's complicated parts.

Great video but some things to note about the games. 1. The 3 sly games have a patch online to remove the motion blur in the ps2 versions of the trilogy. Also try out the other games. 2. The sequel to katamari is also super solid, we love katamari, and I would recommend that even though they didn't do an HD remaster. Also it has Co op. 3. The Wii U is also natively backwards compatible with gamecube and wii games if you want an hd solution although it takes a bit more of a setup for them.

Not that scary? Bro SH2 is a NIGHTMARE, the audio design is so fantastic, especially in the prison, and the soul crushing pit of darkness the characters refer to as a hotel
