when I have kids im going to give them the African names of my ancestors and I'm going to give them the names of black Kings and queens as their middle names so that they can have a reminder of where they came from and how their heratige is a powerful people.

Being an African myself, I should say that I am glad this video was made. For a long time now, the picture that has been painted is that our history started with slavery. We need to rebuild our people. We can't let our ancestors down. What they built was amazing and we must return to our former glory.
We're literally here to learn interesting things about african history and people try to discredit everything at every turn. No that king didn't exist, no that langage doesn't exist. Not all black people have Kings or Queens ancestors in their DNA that was Kings or Queens. Some tribes was slaves sadly, you can't automatically call yourself a King or Queen unless your ancestors was a King or a Queen. Not every person from Africa was a King or Queen..

Being from Mesoamérica, wanting to know a history where you’ve been seen as the savage all through childhood. Finally 27 years later my eyes are opening.
