The green Pete that I'm guessing grenaded the diff... I've had that happen! Driving a 04 mack vision with a vehicle weight of 120k lbs into 2nd gear she let out a big bang. That was it. Ahead of the 1st pumpkin the drive shift was turning. Behind it nothing.

Sounds like they start in quite a high gear expeshally unloaded does any body no there shift patter ? Like start of in first gear of high box then skip a few gears ?

You can do that in any semi unloaded. Why shift all gears when your bobtailing? Smack her in 3rd or 4th and be gone. Is 18speed, slap her in 6th and give her hell.

Just curious, but that gray and green peterbuilt, does it have an auto trans. Cause you never really hear it shift like the other trucks do, and the constant torque that thing’s putting out to keep the frame twisted up like that!?! Really makes me wonder.

Very similar to that truck in 1320s video on the air strip yeah. I can not verify to you that it is for sure but given the relatively small number of competitors in this sport it would seem likely. If not its darn close.

Finding the right gear is the key to win. U can get faster to the finish line with a 600hp engine than a noob with a 800hp engine 😂 (unless he has something like a volvo dtc).
