A unique thing about Might Gaine combinations compared to, say, various Braves, Transformers, or Toku bots is how the pieces just SLAM together (emphasized by budget-draining sparks) to show that combining is a risky maneuver if not done with skill, experience, and maybe a little bravery.
Reminds me on how when Getter Robo was still in development, Dynamic Pro got the idea from when they went to test drive cars to get one for the office, and ended up crashing 3 together.
@@MasterSwo This is true. From my experience with Gunpla, it's difficult to appreciate certain designs if they don't have the any accompanying articulation to show off.
There's always making non-transforming and/or non-combining toys focused on articulation to go with the combiners and transformers, like Revoltech and Robot Spirits and the like.
I love Great Might Gaine. It's like someone said "Hey, why don't we take every vehicle ever and make them form one robot?", and they got a huge piece of golden awesome.
Mine’s Dagwon. Even for Super Robot shows Might Gaine and GaoGaiGar were WAY too full of themselves! Dagwon was definitely the most “mature” entry in the saga and that’s what I liked about it.
I love how the lyrics are half right about MightGaine's "unrivaled power". At the time, he was basically the strongest brave, up until GaoGaiGar came along
@@hachiroku7999 It's stated that he's Phisically superior to Super Fire Dagwon (He's twice as strong, taller, faster and packs overall more of a punch with his finishers). That and Perfect Cannon: He has the Perfect Cannon at the end of the Day.
@@MasterSwo It was Golmag who did much of the destruction of the enemy monsters as he was built to withstand incredible pressure, just give MightGaine his own verison, then he would jump to the top or at least rival GaoGaiGar
HOLY MOTHER CRAP, I have and just finished the whole series recently, but for you to have godly subs of that level just slaps me in the face. Damn, where can I get the entire subs with the music lyrics added?!?!?!?! The series itself may be no where near GGG's awesomness, but I do love the merger theme songs they come up with here!
No, Might Kaiser was made to replace the combined form of Might Gaine (Locomorizer is the main part) as a combined robot, but Locomorizer got repaired later in the series. Besides, you can't have Yuusha Tokkyuu Might Gaine without Might Gaine.
Let’s go, hurricane! Great Dash, Great Dash! Soar in the sky, Might Kaiser! With the signal for victory Great Dash, Great Dash! Standing tall, the reputed Might Gaine Beyond the light Time will pass by Just like magma Blaze! Blaze that heart more fiercely now! Begin to combine! Become one entity And then defeat them all in flames! Exploding with power that is unrivaled by enemies! Faster than lightning, Greaaat Might Gaine!
we need to see these shows back with modern animation and with the current toy technology any drawbacks these hunks of plastic would have are negated so in theory we could have something like great exkaiser with full articulations
wow thats almost the most gattai i have even seen! i said to myself "stop with the gattai already, youv ran out of stuff to gattai with! and more stuff kept comeing and slaping it self on. it was awesome!
Nyoro~n Fansubs is the group subbing it, they've done up to episode 6. They had a ton of problems and were down for a while recently, but are back now.
@Vachidra The Studio Half Eye version looks AMAZING shame it costs like $400 not to mention its about the size of a Worlds smallest transformer and the individual vehicle modes look off so that the robot modes look great but at least might gunner looks great and doesn't suffer from the short barrel perfect cannon mode that the original toy had
Ok, I decided, I'll try to retrace this gattai sequence using other characters! :) Of course I will credit where credit is do... Or is that considered plagirism? :O
Trust me, they're are not!! Maito is prounounced 'Maite O' that's his name, it's even on Wikipedia; 'Maito Senpujin', it's just the way the Japanese prounounce it, it makes it sound like it's just 'Might' but it isen't. And anyway I am correct about the Might Wing, because it makes sense. The Might part comes from the right arm and Gaine from the left arm; hence Might Gaine.
