This is the best news i have been waiting Jennifer. I was close to push the buy button today but check your blogs first before doing so...and voila..new changes and good news..no more travel insurance...yeheyyyh!!!!
Jennifer, please ask the IATF when are they going to lift the required 48 hours RT PCR or 24 hours Antigen Test be lifted? If we are fully vaccinated and boosted, why is there a need for RT PCR/Antigen test?. I hope and pray that this requirement be removed too.
Hi, Jennifer, we just arrived here in Manila 4 days ago, we have all the requirements needed, everything went smoothly no hazzle s at all, immigration just ask for our one health pass. Mabuhay.
Thank you Jenn for that good news. You are a beacon of hope for us travelers on your relentless updates. I will be traveling to Philippines in June. Salamat beautiful
That's great news Jennifer, our medical insurance with covid coverage cost us $1000 this trip for 3 months, glad we won't need it when we come back next winter.
@@christianbaga9377 my brain acts like an adult and sees the end goal with gradual cautiousness but there are moments my heart acts like an impulsive youth and want the end result now. I wholly believe it will happen. I just need to be patient.

Yay ty Jennifer ty God watches over us BALIKBAYANS les gastos po sa amin mad marami na po kaming Mai tulong sa aming mga kamag anak it’s been 3 years po na hindi namin clang nakita. Good news po talaga🙏🙏🙏
As long as you don't have an accident and have to get flown back home in a medical emergency. Never mind me, you probably don't insure your home while your away as well.
As I was saying before that travel insurance is useless and thanks to the BOI for removing this requirement. I printed all 3 pages of this advisory in case the airline question us for having no travel insurance. I had to cancel my wife's travel insurance though that I purchased yesterday. Hopefully I get the full refund since the actual travel has not been executed. Thanks Ms. Terri.
@@charlespadlan2762 I have it my gallery but unfortunately I can't attach anything here. The BOI Advisory is dated March 31 but is effective April 1. This advisory is posted on the Filipino Stranded Abroad (FSA) Group. Sign up so you can read all the experiences by travelers who have gone through airports of their origin and successfully arrived in PI.
I hope they will open the country to unvaccinated, I have exemption for my medical, and my spouse, unvaccinated, we want to go home for good and retire in our beloved country, God help us Amen they need to removed this, because people that vaccinated they still infected of virus, thank you
These changes only happens when sensible people questions protocols that just don’t make sense. An example is the travel insurance. US Military retirees have access to Tricare, one of the best, if not the best insurance available in the Philippines. It would not pass the old protocol, simply because it does not specify Covid and the $35000. It simply has a deductible, but with any insurance, the member has to pay up front and get reimburse after they file. I’m happy that someone out there came to their senses.
Thank you Jennifer for all the informations 👏👏👏😘 coming to Philippines in May to visit my Nanay and my sibling. Again thank you watching you from Boston Ma. everyday God Bliss 🙏🥰
Hi good morning Jennifer thats really a good news. Ksi me ticket na kmi wth Singapore Airlines and departing on the 10th of June. Sana hndi na yan magbago. Thank you Lord. Were here in Melbourne Australia
Yes, you can qualify as balikbayan if you can show your old PH passport or PSA/NSO birth certificate. If you will retire in PH, I suggest to apply for dual citizenship. As a dual citizen, you can get senior citizen (PH) benefits.
Great news!!! I’ve always had travel insurance anyway. BUT, the mandate didn’t make any sense whatsoever, for traveling to the Philippines; because the medical facilities there ONLY accept cash! They don’t care about your foreign insurance. Do not forget to get copies of the medical documents during your visit to a medical facility. You will need them to make a claim from your insurance back home…after the fact.
Exactly, I have mentioned that point before. I hope many more continue the bring it up, so the IATF can finally understand that the insurance is useless here in the Philippines as we need to pay cash upon release from the hospital or whatever.
Meet your loved ones in thailand when you want . Thay just have to make 5 days quarantine there when unvaccinated. I will do it so and travel from germany to thailand. Philippines would be better... I could Let a lot of money rather in Philippines that would help the Philippines people to have work in the hotels and restaurants..... I had already covid 2 times.... so ehy thay dont let at least recovered people with a short quarantine in for the next step??? Maybe recovered people from visa free countries with 5 days quarantine?? Than i would make this in Philippines.but so i go to thailand
No more travel insurance requirement for Balikbayans is really good news for us. We’ve been waiting for this to happen, so, it’s about time to plan for our long awaited vacation. Thanks Jennifer for this great update.👍👍👍😎😎
Best and very good news Jennifer if they will announce no more vaccine mandates....just negative test result is enough for everyone entering Philippines or best is no more requirements at all....
That’s really a good news Jen but unfortunately I got already my travel insurance and be traveling tomorrow Lord willing. God bless you and thank you very much for the update.
Such great news for us balikbayans Jen!! That travel insurance was going to be a huge cost, especially for those of us over retirement age. I'm now hoping that by October when we return that the mask requirements in the country have been lifted too.
The Philippines still lagging behind Thailand, who have scrapped the pre departure test, and allow unvaxxed to do five days quarantine. All restrictions there are proposed to be lifted by July 1, and may even be brought forward to June 1
Thank you for all your advise, we ‘re here now in the Philippines. Luckily I have my son to help me post all the requirements needed for one health pass. Unluckily I didn’t get the April 1 advisory and have to pay travel insurance . Kind of pricey but in the second thought it’s also would be helpful in case of emergency. It gives you assurance .Next time I’ll watch the requirements to go back to USA. More power to you.
Yes! That's good news. Now, let's get rid of the test and the One Health pass and we will be buying our tickets to go to the Philippines for myself, my wife and our baby!
Thank you Jennifer for keeping us updated! You're very helpful. My husband and I always check up on your channel if there is any new update with Travel restrictions in Philippines. God bless you always! ❤
