While we wait for the grain leg to get repaired I'll have to instead work on the ripper and make some repairs. After that, I'll enjoy my time tilling up some old hay. Eventually, corn harvest begins and we celebrate by dancing. I added that part for no reason. Is anyone reading this?

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Garin elevators grain silos or harvester silos I'm not afraid of heights but when I get up on them but after a few mins your body adjusts to the height. Guess all that fresh airs a shock to some folks system 😂😂😂😂 but I agree with you no thanks my farming days are done so I have no urge to climb either one. But I will say when leg plugs because the silage is too moist definitely takes a bit to break that chunk loose stay safe y'all been watching from the beginning you've definitely evolved the operation of your way very well. Glad Jim's back healthy and better then ever also your dad's knowledge irreplaceable in my opinion and onix since starting on a grain cart now doing a little bit of everything definitely brings back memories appreciate y'all and the time you take outta your day thank you all

My father grew up on a farm. As we know, dogs always have farms. My dad had a dog named Cookie. One day (in the late 1950's) Cookie got run over by a tractor. She was fine, but one of her front paws was slightly bruised. She healed up rather quick and stopped limping. But whenever dad would say, "Cookie! Are you hurt?" She would start limping again, but could never remember which front paw was hurting. I wish I had met that dog.

I farmed way back when you had to steer the combine and tractor and it doesn't seem that long ago but it was over 40 years ago. There has been so many changes and really it's all good. I think farming is more efficient than back then and a heck of alot more expensive. I look at Zack and his Dad and it brings back alot of good memories of my dad and me . I do wish I would have stayed on the farm but I decided to work in town. I did well for myself but nothing compares to the time I spent with my dad. Cherish the time you have with your parents and later with your family. Money isn't worth anything without your family.
