Great Value Brush guards, knuckle savers, hand guards. Totally worth it! 

I'm using the JFG Racing brush guards on my band new Yamaha XP-250. I am not happy with them. The clamps that fit outside the handle bars fit just fine, had no problem tightening them up, using the included black plastic spacers. The problem I had on the left side, as I tightened up the bolt that goes inside the ex-pander in the left handlebar, I was unable to get the fastener tight. It is a cheap copy of what some in the construction industry call a "red-head." The nut has a taper, along with some small teeth that as one tightens the Allen bolt, the nut reaches it's limit and the insert will not get tighter. I had no problem with the one in the right, throttle side. Why they chose to use a flat-head screw instead of a button head is beyond me. I was aware of the slits in the spacer, so no, I didn't get it backwards. What helped a little, I was able to put one layer of aluminum foil HVAC tape around the spacer, two layers might have been better. There is something wrong with the machining tolerances of the parts, simply not good enough. I spent over an hour attaching the guards. I purchased them on Amazon, don't know if it would have been better if I spent more money. I haven't ridden with them yet, once I do, will report back, but I'm concerned about the left one being tight enough. For now, I wouldn't recommend JFG Racing brush guards. Jim
