The reason Eddie that there are loads of traffic is Due to the fireworks. They always close off beach road, so any traffic has to use 2nd road. Also, as you found out any side roads. The hotel looks good, better than the 1 I normally stay at. I would give it a try but for 1 thing, like most hotels it has a small fridge. I live in Thailand if I'm in Pattaya I will buy frozen food to take home so require a big fridge. The place I stay has a big fridge that I turn up to Max and it'll keep any goodies frozen for the duration. (Just 1 minor thing it also freezes any water in it) Price is much the same. Good review, and I'm sure people will stay there after your vlog. I would stay there but for the small fridge. Keep up the good work.

Stayed there a few years ago. There was a free shuttle bus up to 2nd road if you’re too lazy to walk. The pool is small, but guests can use the fabulous rooftop pool in next doors hotel for free ( loads of sun beds). Great little hotel.

KTK Hotel best deal in Pattaya IMO, been a few times and there in December. Located half way between Soi Bukou and Beach Road.

I stayed there in March its definitely my favorite hotel on my Thailand travels.

Fantastic little area in my opinion.

Your shot off the balcony looks straight onto the back of Siam View……great great great hotel!

Great review Ed. Getting a hotel of that quality for below 1,000 baht/night in high season is good going. I like the Areca but it is starting to cash in on its success now and ramping up its rates. Looking for other options is definitely on the agenda now.

FYI……Scooter taxi from that hotel to Soi Bukao about 40/50 baht ….done it many many times…..ps there is a scooter rank right next to KTK and opposite Siam View.

Bloody hell Eddie!…..I know that area very very well……I remember that bar opening and knew the owner….KTK is great and we stayed at the SIAM VIEW opposite at least 20 times over the years…..our go to hotel in Pattaya!!…..the Nova Gold is just further on tucked away in the corner, also very good……wow!, first video of my old stamping ground I’ve ever seen!!……ps outside that bar is the best taxi man service in Pattaya, know him very well for years…..Mr Tik!…..he’s the boss, top man…..mention Dave Sunitra and Jack……..

Eddie it’s called Soi AR….if you walk another 200 yards past KTK it brings you out onto Pattaya Klang…….easy peasy, love the area!

good content eddie stayed in the sister hotel which you have failed to mention,the nova park hotel which is just by the jamerson bar also whilst you stay in the nova you also have access to the roof top pool and jacuzzi of the third nova hotel which when on your balconey looking out to the left the white hotel with sqiggly black stripe around the top is nova also. basically when staying in any of the nova hotels you are allowed access to the amenities of the other nova hotels in that area

The Centara Pattaya hotel is also a very good hotel, rooms a bit small but great everything else……fantastic pool and garden!

The main reason Mongers go to Pattaya is for P4P & no matter how good the Hotel deals etc are if the BG quality is down & the prices up at least some of them are going to look elsewhere.

I know that road very well. I always stayed at the Nova Express now De Mandarin Nova Express further up. Always clean, funky rooms with a rooftop pool for around £22-£25 per night. Exceptional value!

Remember that hotel being built!……I booked that hotel for my brother in law on his first visit to Thailand and it was brand new!….Siam View is 30 metres further on…….

If you follow the road your hotel is on until the end, it comes out on Central Pattaya Road not too far north of Soi Buakhao. When i was in Patts in 2013, i used to go to an Isan music club with a Thai girl i had on the go. The club was where Hollywood Disco now is, we walked back to the apartment block i stay at on the Klang right past this hotel.......

Good content and as good a hotel review you'll get, as including the immediate surrounding area is a smart touch. Value is relative, and in many cases a good deal get's erased with variable costs like transport, time and nourishment. You seem happy with the place, and that's what counts....... I'm noticing many people on YT claiming how expensive lodging has become. Some hoteliers have this mentality trying this failed practice of reclaiming losses by raising prices. I was even surprised this western hotel tycoon in Phuket even pushing for a surcharge for foreigners - Mama Mia ! The sensible hotel administrators will properly gauge the market and even take advantage, as their hotels will will have heads in beds. I can understand a hike in the price of orange juice if Florida experiences a freeze and crops damage. Hotel rooms survive any calamity and it's a silly notion past lost income be passed on the consumer. Anyways .. carry on steady.

If it’s good enough for you Ed, it’s good enough for me. 25 usd for that place is a smoking bargain.At least relative to Western US states. Example- Holiday Inn express booked midweek in December. Scottsdale Arizona 175 usd a night. Includes Breakfast. 2 adults 2 queen beds. So 6 nights in Pattaya or 1 night in a suburb of Phoenix?🧐 I ll take the babes on scooters thank you. @17:06 fair warning when tipping maids. One time I tipped $20 and she got almost offended or at the very least, uncomfortable like I wanted something in return. Maybe smaller tips daily are better for a friendly interaction. In reality, I had just won gambling so i was feeling generous but actually freaked the woman out more than anything :(

Hi Eddie really nice hotel for the money hard to believe the prices of hotels in Pattaya.I have always used the bikes for getting about no fuss and so much faster you wont pay more than 100 baht from anywhere.looking forward to the next one cheers mate.

Hairdryer if you have hair lol. The part where you said you got lost on a previous night, eventually comes out by another 7 eleven on Pattaya Klang, Central Road. You can then turn towards the beach and then turn left on to soi Buakhao or turn up to 3rd Road/ Sukhumvit.

Nova Park just around the corner is a great hotel to and very reasonable

That is a nice hotel in a great area.

If you’d gone a further 100 yards past KTK instead of turning back you would have come across an even better hotel tucked away on left, also NOVA, classy!!

Love your channel but that hook up shirt is terrible. I've stayed in KTK a few times over the years, they do a good monthly rate & is a million times better than the hotel you're staying in, might be worth popping in & ask for a monthly price & to look at the rooms above the pool area. Also just round the corner is Nova Suites , stayed there a few times too, decent place.

Great find there Eddy,have strolled up and down soi 6 and beach rd,never been down there.lovely hotel indeed not a huge room but ideal for myself or a takeaway ! So much traffic all for fireworks? Seen one fireworks you have seen enough.take care mate

I stayed there with my wife and son (then 2 year old)about 5 years ago... I totally agree with all the things you say about this hotel... its lovely.. I would have my breakfast in the 'German ' place you mentioned to the left hand side opp HK mansion My only problem was my son finding my wifes eye liner and drawing pictures on the floor tiles (we live and learn) a problem a 1000bt and a hand shake sorted that 555... But yes a lovely hotel

Thought you were stopping at the nova park when I saw this review come up but looks ok , I'm across the road in the KTK hotel cost me £450 for 17 nights including breakfast the bonus is breakfast till 12 easy to get up . Rooms twice as big with a kitchen area and 2 swimming pools .

And Eddys rant about Pattaya youtubers to stay away from him 😂😂

I always remember when a maid walked in to my Pattaya hotel room when I was starkers. I gave her a tip.

I can’t find any reason to not stay there Steady. Looks like a nice clean place and a short walk to the action. Great price too!

some chaotic camera work to go with the traffic by the looks..Check out the Whitehouse Condotel in soi 13 Ed...you will never look back.Smack bang between 2nd rd and beach rd and price includes alacarte BF.... best location and excellent rooms/price...

That looks like a great hotel. I pulled up the KTK and it's also very nice. I'm not familiar with that area but it looks very convenient. I'll definitely add both hotels on my list.
