Love your work and I do subscribe to the school of gloss clear coat before decals. As an aside you might consider purchasing one of those ebay usb coffee cup warmers to keep your water warm.

I'm always slightly amused by your thanks in these videos since to be quite honest it's us who should be thanking YOU for what is turning out to be a stunning build. I shall have them close at hand when I finally start building my Flanker. I have 'issues' myself, pretty bad ones which mean I could never do what you do, commenting here is enough of an adventure for me, so thank you again, looking forward very much to the next instalment :)

This channel is an absolute gem! Great build. I was building a hobbyboss su 27 in digital camo with the foxbot masks and decals a few months back but knocked over a bottle of mr levelling thinners over it and it ended up eating the plastic. I am now waiting the GWH su 27 b to come out to give it a another go

Hi Sean. Thanks so much for your super kind comment. I feel so bad for you doing all that work for it to be ruined. Its so easily done, tipping over bottles of corrosive stuff so i feel your pain. When you get a chance. Get this kit, you wont be disappointed. Thanks again 😊

Very NICE!!! Those decals (pronounced /dee cals/ ;) )* really make the kit POP! :O :D On a side note... I wish that Microbase (or GWH) would come out with a 1/48 scale SU-27KUB one of these days soon. *Yeah, I'm a Yank ;) (who lived in England for a couple of years (RAF Upper Heyford 1988-1990 (putting bombs on F-111Es)), who is currently in the PRC (teaching English).

Hey mate - as always, love watching your videos. I finished (finally) my Tomcat. I had more trouble with the after market decals. I wish they had gone down as well as these Foxbot ones. I have 3 kits in my garage that I need to complete before I buy the next one. You experience with this kit has pretty much sealed the deal that it will be an SU-27. I hope it comes out 75% as well as your example. Keep up the nice work - look forward to the next vid. Cheers

@@stregasplasticcartel812 I’ve started on an M-109 Paladin. As a kid, I never built ground vehicles. But when I got back into the hobby last year, I thought I’d try it. It’s fun and mistakes become battle damage. :) Next up is a German truck and a MiG-21. All three were gifts.

Your decal (deck-al 😁) patience astounds me, lol I'm just a chuck the big ones on type, maybe I'll aim for 50 not 10 on this kit thanks to you showing the way. 👍🏻 But 200? Noooooooo!!!! 😄 Thanks for the upload, top stuff as per usual, loving the waffle. After the next kit, I vote for the HK Lancaster 1/48 😏 Isn't a q tip something that goes on the end of a cue for snooker? Definitely not for ears, unless you have really big ears.

I'm new to the hobby so I'm confused as to why doing those long red decals in one piece is an issue

Because they are so thin, they twist easily and as you will find out as and when you have long thin decals to tackle, they are tricky to get into a perfect straight line. Thanks for your question 😊
