This victory ultimately amounted to nothing for Liquid, though...they had to face Echo for a rematch in the grand finals and this time Echo stomped them.
That was soooo epic. Probably the best match in dragonflight. Theese players create magic man. Also, supatease is such a great caster, he should get a raise tbh. When he casts im always hyped. He see's all the details and never misses when someone dies. It can be so anti climax when the casters doesnt notice when someone is dying. Im soooo happy this game was commented by you Supa❤ Also for the players, they are masters of their art, and you make them shine with your great commentator skills.
This title is unbelievable until you watch the game... Then you realize this was truly the greatest game in the history of competitive arena, if not it's REALLY high up there! What an amazing tournament I was on the edge of my seat the whole Sunday evening!
Especially not in the grand finale where Echo and Liquid had a rematch and this time Echo completely kicked the crap out of Liquid. No chair-punching from Cdew then! 🤣
Both teams were so unbelievable that even felt bad one of them had to loose. I saw this live on Twitch it was insane and also the 2-3 payback from Echo and tournament win. Thank goodness for this game, players and you casters, we're witnessing greatness.
im done with retail arenas for quite some years now and ive just randomly put on the AWC stream that day and i was literally SHAKING after this game just by watching it...insane game and insane casting from all of you guys gg!
@@opo3628 yup yup... you guys have one of the "acclaimed best " rogues in the world and avoided rogue-to-rogue combat against Trill - who is not even a rogue main? Echo knew they couldn't go rogue toe to toe with Trill!
This series and the rematch in the finals especially the last game with the godplay from Lontar was the absolute best pvp ever, such a good showing by them all.
There was certainly no chair-punching from Cdew in the grand final match where Liquid had a rematch against Echo, and this time Echo completely kicked the crap out of Liquid.
I completely agree that this is the best WoW arena game ever streamed. I showed this to my son who is 14, never played wow. This made him want to start. Supa, is there a way you could interview Trill about what he did in that game to win, how he pulled it off? I would love to hear about his tech!
I was fortunate enough to see Veev's + Vanguards 2v3 live; and I saw this live. WoW has been some edge of your seat entertainment. Thank you players and casters.
Welcome to Trillville....grand finals were tough, like Dew said, Echo adjusted, but....Liquid's boomie outlaw was so finely tuned, I think a switch would have been tough for them to pull off even though some combo of WW or DH for Trill and Mez on DK or DH would have been interesting.
Liquid certainly needed to do *something* -- despite their mastery of the Boom/OLR/Pres comp, it became readily apparent very quickly that it just wasn't working against Echo in the grand finals rematch...but they stuck with it...and Echo beat them handily. 🤷♂
They *did* eventually win the entire tournament, though. This bout was just a minor setback for Echo. Echo and Liquid had a rematch in the finals and Echo totally kicked the crap out of Liquid. It wasn't even close.
Seeing this live on stream gave me a literal heart attack. You can't get better then this, triple S tier skill! Let's fucking go TRILL IS A WOW LEGEND! Also, awesome casting, you guys are the absolute best!!
LOL no. 🤣 This win amounted to nothing for Liquid. They had a rematch in the grand finals and this time Echo completely destroyed them. So sad, too bad! 🤣
It's called dampening and he was 100% oom. He literally just had to sit there and watch them die. The same exact thing happened to Liquid in the finals vs Echo.....a little payback.
Even though the hype is great trill had every cd and they had nothing. It was over. The right play there was to sacrifice chanimal and raiku getting the f outta there till blur is off cd and trying to win the 2v2. But even then they would have probably lost with lontar having nothing left
@@ranyl7744 - Ultimately this loss didn't matter for Echo, since they had a rematch in the grand finals and this time they completely kicked the crap out of Liquid and won the whole tournament. 👑
This brought some oldschool feeling back, despite dragonflight being a slight version of shadowlands, aka bad (in my humble opinion). Gave me the Flubbah 2 from cata chills everyone perma low, almost through out the video.
I was looking for a swap too, definitely a soft target against that comp, but....Sam has been playing out his back side. He won them plenty of games--would not be in finals without him. And as good as Echo looked in grand finals, that's how good Sam and Trill looked in other matches. MASSIVE damage from both.
Yup. No matter how superbly Sam was playing the laser chicken, it became readily obvious that it wasn't working against Echo in their grand finals rematch...and Liquid being stubborn and keeping it on the team ultimately cost them the tournament.
There was certainly no chair-punching from Cdew in the grand finals when Liquid had a rematch against Echo, and this time Echo totally kicked the crap out of them. 🤣
@@markk.8485 - Lesson learned! Echo came roaring back from the loss and won the tournament. 👑 They totally kicked the crap out of Liquid in the rematch.
I agree, this is the best game i have seen.. My old favorite was s ame arena, ten years ago.. Bleeched bones vs. 3 amigos... You can say what you want about the flashy healers but in my mind there is only one healing God
It was a great game. But the ping issue was ridiculous. Liquid didn't win a single game against Echo on EU ping. And overall they won 1 game on EU ping the ENTIRE tournament. It clearly played a huge role even though everyone tried to downplay it. Echo would have smashed Liquid in every game on LAN.
