@@Wiwibloggs I think there's more to the videoclip than meets the eye. The flooding incident shown in the beginning reminds us of the imminent global risks of the melting of the polar ice caps. In a mythological sense it can describe the emergence of Atlantis or the Great Deluge, both of which directly relate to the ancient Greek God Poseidon. According to the myth, Poseidon, in his horse form, mated with Medusa and their progeny was Pegasus, a flying horse that was allowed to visit Olympus, due to its divine heritage. According to Plato, Atlas was one of the 12 kings of Atlantis and a son of Poseidon. He was considered among the first astronomers and his daughters were the star deities Pleiads. After the war against the Titans, which the Olympians won, Zeus ordered his enemy Atlas to carry the "base of the sky" on his shoulders" placing him on the Atlas mountain range in Africa. Lastly, after the Great Deluge in which Deucalion and Pyrra were the only survivors, Zeus gave them permission to repopulate the world. Thus, they throwed stones behind their backs which would give shape into new human beings. Among the first was Hellenas, the genealogical father of the first Greeks. In my opinion, the video is heavy in symbolism and a really nice modern representation of our ancient Greek culture.

For me it's like the world stops like what happened with the pandemic. And sinking. The guy holding earth is Atlas and then we see light that is hope and love. So finally everything goes on and green light turns on again

The flying horse is Pegasos ...Greek mythology all the way! And the guy holding the world is Atlas! This video is so well thought out.Great storytelling, representing the situation of the pandemic as a cataclysmic event and delivering the message of panhumanism and love which will save us and get us through to the next century for mankind. As a Greek I am really proud of this and comfortable withit as our national choice..it goes to show that there are several ways to deliver cultural elements for god's shake even the Acropolis can be seen at the background, really professional, great stuff!!

I can't stop listening to this. I LOVED Supergirl last year, but this is is another league above. The disco vibe (which is very in right now i.e. Dua Lipa, Kylie Mingoue) suits Stefania so well, and it's mixed with an excellent Pop production. Well done Greece, and WELCOME BACK to Eurovision with a VERY competitive song! Good luck Greece :-)

According to ERT, Last Dance surpassed 100.000 views on ERTflix in under 4 hours.. Considering it was released first on ERTflix, and not like the "esc official channel" for example, I think this is big 😁😁Also according to ERT most views from Europe (the top4 lol) came from Germany, Spain, UK and Netherlands

Pegasus (the horse) symbolizes the beginning and 'atlas' (the boy) holds the world in greek mythology. Pegasus' father was Poseidon (the god of the sea and that's why the water in the beginning of the clip) and pegasus' mother was Medousa that if she looked someone he was made of stone, according to the greek mythology. So, because Stefania touches 'atlas' the world starts from the beginning and the people came to life again. the song starts with a pessimistic vibe(catastrophes, darkness etc.). And then it gains an optimistic vibe as she says this ain't our last dance(the sun is rising and Stefania is dancing in front of the sun which symbolizes the new beginning and hope which fill Stefania ). It raises the issue of fulfilling our dreams. Another version of the song is to hope for a better world because of the pandemic( ''I never listened to the remedies, if the dreams we made are made of fire, looking for signs of life tonight, as we collide in black and white"). And this is the reason why after riding the horse the planet starts again. Consequently, the main aim of this song is to encourage you to follow your dreams in any way and imagine that you can do everything you want if you want it!!.Each end has a new beginning. Yes, there are references to greek mythology... the flying horse is god Pegasus, then we have titan Atlas who holds the world in his ams, as punishment from Zeus and our world with all the disasters, the covid that hold us back is a modern Atlantis. There are plenty elements from mythology. It's an awesome song, dynamic and toutcing, dark and bright i love it! And Stefania what a voice?! More mature, for sure! Good luck Hellada!

Actually this song is inspired from Greek mythology and the story behind it it’s when everything goes down always there is a way to save things “the Pegasus” saved the girl and the man called “Atlas” and he is carrying all the problems “ )in Greek mythology he carries the world as a punishment) then Stefania touches him and he saved the world 🙏🏽☺️🇬🇷

You two are awesome! The song has influences from the 80's and that's why I find it the best so far! It's also very current. It talks about the pandemic and likens it to a natural disaster but always after the end of a disaster, a new beginning is born. The video means that we should be optimistic about life and never stop dancing, even if it's our last dance on this planet. There is always a new beginning as it was in antiquity, so they reborn the mythical heroes like Pegasus the horse and Atlas the titan who held the earth with his hands, so that it would not be destroyed. 👏💋
