Greetings from Turkey to the people of Greece. This looks like a strong civil popular resistance. I liked the courage of the civilian population. I think your politicians don't deserve you. Bring in politicians who make smarter moves. I think you will overcome these difficult situations, neighbor.

Remember, Greece is apart of the G7 nations. Almost Every G7 nation so far had its citizens push back against government overreaches, and they should be hailed as heroes. Instead, legacy media and our own governments will call these protestors "Extremists" just for standing up against our governments. Canada is a great example of this happening. I am in Greece and you can survive paying rent, living alone with 800€ per month. If you want luxury you need more than 1000€, but Greece is cheap. Some wages are 600€ per month and with that you can't survive living alone

Speaking as a Greek, unfortunately we have multiple sets of extremists in Greece.... fascist Golden Dawn, Marxist Syriza and anarchists. Democratic protest is a right. Striking is a democratic right. However attacks against police are terrorism. Pretty much a certainty these terrorists were either anarchists and/or Marxists. I hope the current government doesn't back down on finding and arresting these violent fanatics. The irony here is similar sorts are largely to blame for our economic meltdown a few years ago.. For decades any time any government, whether left or right, tried to make cuts to balance budgets violent far left and anarchist hooligans terrorized our streets which made it difficult to budget cuts. They slander anyone that disagrees with them as being "fascist" and "racist" and if that doesn't work... violently riot. Chicken eventually came home to roost. I used to support the Greek left until I realized it had become so extreme most Greek leftists began shamelessly supporting Marxism. Syriza's leaders literally think communists were the on the right side of the cold war. Alex Tsipras even bizarrely named one of his poor kids "Che" after mass murdering communist terrorist Che Gueverra. Fascists and communists are both for lack of a better term...evil. We have the wars of the 20th century to show extremism of both left and right leads to a horror show.
