I denounced a frat years ago. One cannot deny the fact that Every frat /sorority places their organization as a priority above all. Need evidence? Just look at the oaths and pledges. People are literally saying they pledge their life to this thing! This is idolatry! This shouldn't be. Christ should be the priority. Then there are people who would say it's cool to have Christ and that organization. Not so. You cannot mix the two. What fellowship does light have with darkness? You cannot have both. If people don't think their org is darkness, then they should look up the Origins of that organization, what it represents, revisit the things that were recited and the gods that represent the organization. ALL of them have a Greek or Egyptian god associated with it in some shape, form, or fashion. Some of those gods are literally mentioned in the Bible. The LORD was angry with his people for fraternizing with those gods. Alpha Phi Alpha literally recites a quote that says they "thank the gods" of their innermost being. This pastor is not defending the faith, but he is defending his frat. Major red flag. Come out from among them and be separate.

He's not blind. He's wants to keep bread in his pocket.

Legitimizing this is just as putting Dagon next to the Ark of the Covenant forgetting that the Lord knocked Dagon down.

You know what’s crazy is that he said the sphinx was used by pagans but that’s not what’s it’s used for now in his fraternity. But, he didn’t keep that same energy when he said the cross was a pagan symbol.

The only question I would ask Mr. Vernon is this, as a believer do you serve the Lord or your frat? If the answer is both, then Houston we have a problem because as a believer you can only have one Master. I am so glad I came out. I sent my letter 5 in the morning and couldn’t wait to be done. I was foolish like him for years. But the Lord was Gracious enough to allow me to come out of this covenant. Holy Spirit spoke to me before I crossed said you need to leave you don’t belong here. I wish I was obedient in that moment. But I learned about it in church. The cross is not “the church”. I don’t believe ANY Christian looks at the cross itself as a wonderful symbol. It’s ONLY a beautiful symbol to those of us who are believers, those of us who know what Jesus Christ did for us! Those of us who understand that He was God on Earth and who lived a perfect life and chose to die in the most miserable and cruel manner possible when He didn’t have to. THAT is why we reference the cross. We aren’t worshipping the cross. Without Jesus it has no real meaning at all to 32:44 us

I denounced last year and nobody but God showed me in His word what He says about these organizations. As a pastor you are leading people including CHILDREN and exposing them to this which makes them think this is okay! We cannot put our culture before Christ and we must do away with ANYTHING that goes against our Lord and Savior. A line has been drawn and it’s time to choose.

I actually watched this ONLY because of you posting it. 🤦🏽‍♀️ However, my point simply, Hosea 4:6 " My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee." This was absolutely so sad to watch. The sad part is he holds title as "pastor" and obviously has not study his BIBLE to see that judgment will start in the house of God FIRST. That being said, what you are openly telling young Christians that are babes in Christ to do is a slap in God face, LITERALLY. Please know God loves you and dont take false doctrine teaching as your only answer. Read and study the word of God for yourself. Yes, I believe its good to get with others that are like minded and talk. However, when you are seeking answers in regards to things that are confusing, Seek God.
