This looks good! And much easier than I thought. While visiting Crete I had this (I think they called it bougatsa) with some cafe freddo and I was in heaven!

I love all types of pita, its seriously a delight to eat. This one looks the same, I have never made this type personally but I would like to try it out! 😄

So many versions of this pie but I like Ken's the best. The only thing I prefer to do is to baste the pastry with beaten egg instead of water, then sprinkle sesame seeds on top. This gives a nicer golden brown colour to the dish. Also - why not just use a rectagonal dish? You don't have to re-shape/re-roll your pastry then :-)
Well oups! I’ve done it again , I told you I would do your chicken pie but we have had chicken so many time this week ,my husband warned me that if we had chicken one more night he was going to grow feathers and I was about to lay an egg!!
