This is how all Green Bay Packer fans were feeling when this pick happened. Aaron Rodgers deserves better. I do not claim this to be my original content. Please go like, subscribe, and support Pat McAfee's incredible show!!!
I know this is 2 years old. But I’ve watched this like 100 times and have always been laughing way too hard at that moment to realize. Holy hell that makes it 10x funnier 😂😂😂
@@rugessnome4729Absolutely genius, always a good move...Yadda yadda... What did you win with both of Rodgers MVP years after this draft? We'll never know what you COULD have won, with drafting him an actual weapon. Some better protection...
There are so many good QBs coming up too. The Chiefs pulled a crazy move like this when they got Mahomes. However Smith while thee most underrated QB in the league was not on a gigantic contact. While people had questions about Mahomes he was a guy that has an 800 yard game with 7 TDs. Not against a "school of blind and deaf" but against Oklahoma. I don't care what questions you have about a guy, 800 yards is 800 yards.
Honestly, now that I think back on this, I think that packers have been trying to tank, and Rodgers just wouldn't let them, out of pure skill and determination 😂
Packers ended the year as the number 1 scoring team in the NFL. If only they would have drafted a WR, they could have been a better number 1 scoring offense.
That was 1 of the DUMBEST picks in NFL history. You’ve got a top 5 all time QB, still in his prime, 1 game away from the Super Bowl and you trade UP to take a guy from Utah St? 🤯
@@alexcoronaFirst of all, the 49ers didn’t draft Steve young. Second of all the guy was a 1st overall pick in the supplemental draft. Thirdly he was a heisman runner up in college. Lastly they only gave up a 2nd a 4th round pick. How is this anyhow a similar situation?
LOL how do they have it worse. The Packers have a young and hungry QB with a ton of talent. You are stuck with the corpse of Russel Wilson and one of the worst teams in the league. Try again. LOL
I just don't get why you would draft you future QB maybe 2 years before you would need him. Maybe 1 year to play behind your HOF that seems to be on the way out. Better be prepared than nothing. But 2 years is very early obviously. Just doesn't make sense because if he turns out great, you've got the same team for the foreseeable future. 2 years of relief on a QB salary is not nearly enough.
@@rileyfair5 playing for the packers and the way they draft every year might as well be your last some of the draft picks don’t even make sense to me sometimes but I get what you mean
@@rileyfair5 nahh in that time he didnt acted like it was his last. his speculations and comments began once they drafted jordan. by the time of the draft rodgers was in year 2 of a 5 year deal. it was the wrong call, im glad jlove is doing amazing so far, but it was the wrong pick.
