This song is criminally underrated. It’s like they’re saying goodbye to the trilogy era. It may have been their worst both publicly and privately, but it was still important to them as musicians and as people. It’s a bittersweet ending.

I must be one of the few who both love the song AND love Twilight. It's beautifully written. Close your eyes then, if you don't want to see the scenes. Many artists do songs for movies. Green Day shows their many sides, and that's what makes them unique regardless of your age. And I'm old.
