when they get to the chorus again at the end and he starts smiling you can feel the way he is feeling. its what makes this song and every green day song so amazing, you really feel him. as what they sing about and stand for is so genuine that relating to it gives an incredible feeling. i can only feel sad for those that dont Relate to green day. ive been listening to other amazing bands like the pretty things, pink floyd, the Beatles, the yardbirds,.... maybe technically they arent like any of those bands but put every other element together and they are by far the best band in the world. only Queen i can think of is similar in that kind of way. its hard not to idolize figures such as freddy and billie once u get to know them and their band more.
However, if there is some justice on earth this unique band is certainly going to be very popular! *watch?v=el3cHidIiAU* Incredible those folks are! RU-vid the video and experience a great time!!!
I'm going to make a bold statement saying this is the BEST Green Day song. Those in attendance of this concert are very lucky. I wanna see them live so bad!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I FUCKING LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS FUCKING SONG
yeah they play some old songs at their shows too. i saw them a few days ago, and they played minority, brain stew, longview, time of your life, when i come around, welcome to paradise, macys day parade, king for a day and a lot of songs from american idiot also. it was pretty awsome :D hehe.
Probably because Jason Freese isn't an official member of Green Day, he's a touring member, like Jason White is before and after the Uno, Dos, Tré trilogy.
@@kobalt_ren01 poor explanation. they can still have a sax solo in the song even if jason freese wasn't an official member. they just chose not to have it.
i'm a singer in a band, we play green day covers too and this song is not simple to sing because of his progression (the second part is one tone higher), and i recognize when a singer has some difficulties... that screaming halleluja is an expert trick to dissimulate an error :)
Can you hear the sound of the static noise Blasting out in stereo? Cater to the class and the paranoid Music to my nervous system Advertising love and religion Murder on the airwaves Slogans on the brink of corruption Visions of blasphemy War and peace Oh, screaming at you I can't see a thing in the video I can't hear a sound on the radio In stereo in the static age Billboard on the rise in the dawn's landscape Working your insanity Tragic a'la madness and concrete Coca-Cola execution Conscience on a cross and your heart's in a vice Squeezing out your state of mind Are what you own that you cannot buy? What a fucking tragedy, strategy Oh, screaming at you I can't see a thing in the video I can't hear a sound on the radio In stereo in the static age I can't see a thing in the video I can't hear a sound on the radio In stereo in the static age Hey, hey, it's the static age Well this is how the west was won Hey, hey, it's the static age millenium All I wanna know what's the god-damn pain Not what's in the medicine All I want to do is I want to breathe Batteries are not included What's the latest way that a man can die Screaming "Hallelujah"? Singing out "The dawn's early light" The silence of the rotten, forgotten Oh, screaming at you I can't see a thing in the video I can't hear a sound on the radio In stereo in the static age I can't see a thing in the video I can't hear a sound on the radio In stereo in the static age I can't see a thing in the video (woah) I can't hear a sound on the radio (woah) In stereo in the static age I can't see a thing in the video (woah) I can't hear a sound on the radio (woah) In stereo in the static age The static age
they do play a lot of their old stuff, i saw them in sacramento, that show was SO amazing, BIlliejoe yelled at the audience to put away all electronic devices, and there was a giant wall of Tv/Speakers and it was just amazing
Oh my... Green Day now is so fucking amazing, the man on the saxophone rocks, Billie looks very happy, like Mike, Tré and Jason which was excellent....
everyone other than jason billie tre and mike are basically there to fill out tyhe sound and it works.... i hand it to them they know how to perform live and i love them
