With the mist and morning sun, pretty much the whole first 5 minutes was Shot o’ the Day. Really beautiful, and some nice camera setups, particularly around 2:40.

It is going to be humbling watching your videos as you revisit the trail towns as you go south. Things will be so much different. People are going to need help. Captain Jack, I’m the guy you met in Vermont who was trying to get ahold of his wife on the trail. We had some good conversation at the shelter .3 miles down. You invited me to visit your channel and I did. Went back and watched all the previous videos, too. These are wonderful! Please take care of your feet. Trenchfoot is no joke. Maybe try using the crocs part of the day to let your feet breathe and your socks and shoes dry. The condition of skin between toes is alarming. I would try to dry them out some how. 🙏❤️

Ummm Your feet need to be dry and aired out more. My husband's feet would do that when he was in the military. 🤗

Heads up dude, be thankful you're in beautiful Vermont! I just got off the horn with a hiker friend from Asheville NC. The southern half of the Appalachians is completely wiped out and flooded out. No power, no water, no internet, and no way out of NC by vehicle. Hopefully by the time you get down there things will be sorted out. As far as I can tell, all of the hostels are closed, too.
