Favorite go to smoothie: Half cup of almond milk, frozen banana, handful of mixed organic greens (the one I use is a mix of spinach, kale and chard), scoop of vanilla protein and a squeeze of lemon! It's so good-tastes like a lemon cake!
This is amazing! Just today I made a new playlist with different smoothie-videos! I love the mango/coconut one, that's a must try! Today I made one of my best smoothies so far: 1 cup frozen raspberries 1 whole banana 1 ½ cups pineapple/orange juice (I buy a package with this combination at our supermarket here in Sweden) Myx it all up and enjoy! (Makes one large or enough for two smaller glasses)
I've been doing as my morning smoothie: Frozen bananas, almond milk, cacao powder, cacao nibs, maca powder and a tbsp of almond butter. It literally tastes like ice cream and is so yummy! Wish I had a Vitamix :( Those things are godly.
They all look delicious! I love adding avocado into my smoothies so that will be the first one that I will be trying. My favorite smoothie is a handful of spinach, a handful of kale, a piece of cucumber, an apple, frozen mango or pineapple, coconut water, chia seeds and goji berries. Love it!!! :D
I just tried the chocolate greens one and I love it, cause I'm not a green lover so this help me a lot and I think is perfect as a post- workout! Thanks Dani
These look SO yummy! I am definitely doing the mango coconut and the avocado! My favorite smoothie lately is banana, pineapple and mango with kale and almond milk with chia seeds for protein. It is such a refreshing way to start out the day, especially in the warmer months!
Just tried my first green smoothie, ever, today. Yum! I used fresh kale, a few pieces of apple, frozen banana, and unsweetened almond milk. I'll try your acocado one tomorrow :)
I made the first smoothie but I used frozen summer squash instead of ice. I couldn't taste any of the vegetables. I also used the bitter greens...kale, chard, spinach. I used Vega chocolate protein powder. I didn't have any Jay Robb on-hand, though I love that brand. Thank you for this series! Love it.
I've been playing around with the double chocolate protein smoothie. It worked with a vanilla protein powder (no cocoa) and Vega Chai. (I still kept the frozen squash in both those and wasn't able to taste it.) I made one for my husband that subbed out the flax seed for peanut butter. It tasted like a peanut butter cup.
Hi! What a GREAT idea to make these healthy smoothies into popsicles for the kids! I'm always looking for ways to sneak more veggies into my son's diet. Thanks for the tip! :-)
I think I would love the mango smoothie, because I love mangos. I just began making smoothies this past Monday. Now my kids are so excited to do the same. My daughter has made a smoothie everyday. Thanks for sharing!
Hola!! Muy ricas tus recetas me cuesta mucho, mucho saber el nombre de los ingredientes Xq no hablo ingles, pero aún así sigo tu canal. Saludos desde Colima, Colima, Mexico.
I'm actually drinking a green smoothie as I'm watching this. My go to is heavy on spinach with a little bit of kale, 2 stalks of celery, usually about 3 or 4 ripe bananas and a little bit of whatever mixed fruit I happen to have in my freezer all blended together with water. For some added protein I'll sometimes add either some low fat greek yogurt or throw in a handful of almonds.
My favorite go to smoothy is the mango(real mangoes), home made yogurt, bananas and almond milk! it is awesome!! the real mangoes make all the difference in the taste. I have tried this with frozen mangoes, naaaaa, not the same. so whenever its mango season, I go pick mangoes from all the neighbors. I bring them home, washed them, cut them up and freeze them. I am on my last zip lock bag of fresh mangoes. I am going to try all your smoothies. I am a smoothy nut!
+Clean & Delicious I live on the islands and we have abundant of mangoes and coconuts every where. when mangoes are in season, I go gathered them and freeze them. so I have supplies all year long. but I still wish I am in the states for all the fresh strawberries and peaches yummy, my favorite fruits!
Very late lol but my go to is berry smoothie to satisfy my sweet tooth, or cacao smoothie for when I need energy. My eldest daughter loves cherry and cacao. My middle like blueberry and my baby is still nursing lol so hers comes in the form of milk 🤗😉☺️ peace and blessings, you look like a lot of fun
I could've sworn you already did a video on this but I just went through them and couldn't find it. Could you do a video going over the difference between juicing and smoothies? There really aren't any good vids out there and I trust your knowledge! Thanks Dani!
Double Chocolate protein Greens - is Great! Really, I`m not into green smoothies too much, but that one so tasty, you never will fill spinach at all)))) Great Thing!
Hey there, thanks for sharing those thy look great and healthy :). Shopping list made for tommorow :D. Now for the produce, what I'm experementing is use a steel burger padding thingy. Fill it up and there you go your own veggy burger ;). Sofar can recommend the white fruit meat from a bigjuise orange & carrot and what ever gets mixed in to it whille making your juice. Egg yellow will work to keep it all together, but take it there other ways especially as some reading are not eating eģgs at all. Looked for a soja/tofu pasta but no luck finding it in shops here sofar to give that a crack. Give me a yell if you have a suggestion on that part? Take care, P.S. fairly low heat is recuired, you dont want to burn the last bit off nutrition left over.
i think light coconut milk is just full fat made with more water, so if you buy a can of regular and mix it with an equal amount of water you basically get an extra can free!
Mango and coconut, protein powder chocolate both sounds delish. I'm also on the look out for a good protein powder. My most favourite smoothie is small variety of banana1, with 1/2 cup purple grapes, 1/4 th cup yogurt, 2 tablespoons ofraw peruvian cacao powder and 1 tablespoon of raw almond powder. I also like mix berries with banana. They are not green but can be made green by adding spinach or kale.
Dani, hope this compliment doesn't sound weird, but your hair looks great. And as always, your recipes are fantastic as well. Thanks for sharing these with us.
Thanks for the video it was really helpful!! I wanted to ask can i use spinach instead of kale in the avocado smoothie? Or maybe another green? Since we don have kale here, thanks!! Xxx
Great job on this! Lots of nutrition there. Suggestions to spike up nutrition even more, try adding an organic raw egg. Or if you are really adventurous and daring like me, purchase raw milk from a reputable farmer, allow it to separate into whey and cheese, then add it too. With all the flavor there, you may not even taste it, yet the nutrition level shoots up 5 fold.
For me, mango coconut! simply because that's the only one that I can make T_T I would love to try the chocolate one, but I can't find the seeds nor do I have the protein powder. As for third one, I have all the ingredients except for avocado. So I would love to try the second one not only since all the ingredients are easy to find but also because that sound lovely! If I have a chance, I would love to try the chocolate one as well as the ginger kick!
i do the first two on mornings and i love it but the kale and apple i will try.I dont know why but i dont like kale in my smoothies i will go for spinach every day.But anyways great one
Yum Dani! I make the 2nd choice but I use pineapple in place of the mango and call it my green pina! I was wondering how well avocados freeze? Have ya tried it? Sometimes my avocados ripen too soon before I get a chance to use them. Thx for the video.
hi dani, could you debunk or confirm some "facts" that I learned through word-of-mouth? i heard that flax is far more beneficial if you grind it yourself before consuming. then on the flip-side i heard that chia seeds are less beneficial when ground. thanks for your help. btw my go-to smoothie is coconut water, baby spinach and kale, frozen grapes and pineapple, and avocado. would love any suggestions to give it an extra boost!
kkz201 IT is true that flax is better ground up so your body can absorb the nutrients - if not ground it often passes right through the system. As for the chia - I/m not sure. I'll look into this.
I'm just not a fan of mixing fruit with any type of milk. I did that for a period of time and something just did not feel right in my digestion. It doesn't matter what milk I use. It can be soya, almond, or coconut. I've tried rice milk as well and it was less taxing then the rest which lead me to believe it's the protein. Bad combination with fruit!
Did anyone notice that the opening music to 'Clean and Delicious' video's is the same as the closing credits music on 'The Boondocks'. Guessing not since there probably is a lot of cross over between these shows. Love the videos. Thumbs up. On 2nd listening they are slightly different but really close.
They all look delicious! As a beginner I shall try the second version first as the it's quick and easy to do. Thanks for the easy to follow and very informative video :) Very nicely presented too. Cheers!
they all look good. Im not a fan of whey...what would be a substitute. Also, I make Kefir smoothies with just plain Kefir and mango with a tiny bit of ginger and some stevia, some times i put fresh ground nutmeg as well >>>addicting
Hi Dani! I'm a new subside and it's my first time commenting below. Pls can you do a review on your Vitamix blender. I observed it makes less noise than the Blendtec. Is that really true or was the noise edited?
karennlloyd07 I might count it as a mini meal and then when you feel hungry again, you can enjoy your breakfast. But ultimately, you want to listen to your body;)
Hi , am new here , i just wanted to ask can we make lots of it and store it in the fridge coz am busy 5 days a week and the only time i get to make something is in the weekend , well it go bad if i keep for too long like 2 or 3 days ?? *****
