It’s been probably 35 years since I ran the Green Wall in my tiny 11 ft Maravia at a similar flow. Watching this video actually kind of spooked me a bit, in that I remember how nervous I was. I remember the rapids being much steeper than what it appears in the video. It was a beautiful sunny day. I bumped a smallish boulder on the left near the beginning of the drop, but had no problems the rest of the way down. One of the kayakers was rammed and flipped by another kayaker at the entrance to the rapids. It’s a long drop, and she missed her roll and ended up swimming the ENTIRE FRIGGING RAPIDS. She was fine. Great trip! LOTS of challenging rapids and not for the faint of heart. 😊

Nice line Zach! For a second I thought you flipped at the bottom when you rammed the rock and it tilted the camera...

Appears to have tapped the rock and moved the camera.

My GoPro hit the wall at the end and turned. From there I caught the eddy on the left to set safety for the other boats.

He often runs his go pro off a spare paddle that sticks up and out from the stern for the best view. But it sticks out a bit and is prone to get knocked around if your raft bootie bumps a rock. There's an old video of his set up you can see if you Google gear garage go pro. I do the same now with mine!

Nice, looks like your spare oar came loose part way through the run.

My spare oar is on the right. The spare oar on the left is for the oar-paddle boat. I rig these pretty loose so I can get to them quickly if someone needs it.
