This is an entry bench that makes a strong statement. Made from mahogany in the Greene & Greene style, this entry bench with storage is sturdy enough to sit on and features ample storage for blankets, shoes, coats, or whatever stuff you might want to shove in there. Thanks to the wide panels, Domino joinery, and one-coat finish, we were able to knock this project out in five days.

240 pages of b w, and color pics. History of G G as well as the Hall Bros. Hall Brosnan actually did all building , while Greene and Greene drew plans. Have fun researching this book. I purchased from Edward R. Hamilton, Bookseller several yrs ago. Hope this helps. I have learned from your video, adding to my dim knowledge. I built, blanket chest w hidden drawer in base end, G,G drafting table, dinning table, and night stands. My favorite in w w.

Details: very Greene & Greene. Proportions: very Asian. Results: beautiful hybrid. Hey, man, I been at this 40 years, I've worked with ebony before, but I hadn't figured on how easy it could be to make those beautiful ebony buttons. Thanks for teaching me!

This may be my favorite original design of yours ever. Love it. Usually G&G is too much for me but the way you dial it back (like with the Guild G&G blanket chest...another favorite which I just had to buy the plans for, came out great) makes it really special.

Mark, A few years back I started watching your videos and thought this was the guy I wanted to learn from. I bought almost every Festool product that I saw you use. Then something happened between you and Festool and you stopped using Festool products almost all together. I just happened to run across this video and said I need to see what Mark has been up too. Well, I was pleased to see you using some Festool products. I sincerely love my Festool tools. I find that it is fun to use this tools rather than heavy machinery. I will continue to watch you now because you are using Festool products again. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Very nice. You've inspired me to make something similar. Also to look into green and green. 👍 At the beginning of the video you refer to the bandsaw blade guide as a safety device and say that you lower it to protect your fingers. But it isn't a safety device and offers no protection to your fingers. I believe it is there to help prevent the blade wandering along the grain when ripping and so should always be dropped down to just above the work. Thanks for posting this, I'm often asked to make entrance storage seats and will try to make some simpler versions of this.

That mahogany is BEAUTIFUL! love the g&g style. I've had little to NO motivation lately but this gave me a kick in the butt I've been needing.so ty sensei!🙏Was hoping to see it have traditional m&t but if I had a domino I'd prolly use it for everything too.
