I composed this song when driving back from Glasgow one night after gigging, I was tired and thought to myself how good it was to come back to the comfort of family, friends and people from my home town. Thankyou for the small things that mean so much.x.

Unfortunately Greenock has really fell apart recently. Not all of it of course but it’s considered the most poverty stricken place in the whole of Scotland.

@@Jamesandersonmurdoch It most definitely wasn't a compliment. I hate America and everything about it. If you talk like Rab C Nesbitt then sing like him too. Be proud of that. It's who you are. Why disguise it? You have a truly brilliant song but it doesn't sound Scottish. It could have been from.anywhere in the world in that accent. It would be much better if it sounded like it came from Scotland.
