The MRR Innovation Lab hosted an event in October, 2019 in Washington, DC to share results of a project pairing CIMMYT drought-tolerant maize with index insurance in Mozambique and Tanzania.
Greg Collins, Deputy Assistant Administrator and Resilience Coordinator at USAID, opened the event and discussed the importance of resilience for development efforts worldwide.
