The MRR Innovation Lab hosted an event in October, 2019 in Washington, DC to share results of a project pairing CIMMYT drought-tolerant maize with index insurance in Mozambique and Tanzania.
Steve Boucher, Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics at UC Davis, discussed the project's impacts on adoption of improved seed varieties, crop yields and food security in Mozambique and Tanzania.
