Greg has been one of my favorite drummers since 1969. He has a feel that nobody has ever duplicated. He just owns that beat top to bottom. If you can stay still when he plays, you'd better check yourself for a pulse. A total master.

Greg Errico has always been the Master of the " Less is More " technique style of drumming !!! The Master keeping time like he was an expensive Swiss Watch...…!!!

So great to see a true legend doing it! Gregg is one of the most crucial beat creators of the last century! Sly and The Family Stone, will be remembered forever as one of music's outstanding contributions. Not only for the memorable music and inventions of sound they created in music. But also for the culture and universal message they created and delivered to the world!

When I first started playing drums in 1969, listening to Greg taught me the meaning of funk and pocket. Greg's drumming on Sex Machine simply blew me away. Greg is a true master of the craft, and one of the all time greats.

I love Sly and the family Stone and I love what Greg did for the band. From the sound of the drums to his feel to his chops, I bet you a penny I can still play all that music like he did. I learned so much from him and the music that to this day it's like breathing for me. So with all respect and love, never stop playing the drums, always share what you have learned and most of all.... Keep your chops up my brothers!! 🙏❤️🥁

I think I borrowed about all his beautiful fills.Growing up with him on the cheap turntable was a precious music education.No machines,nothing perfect or quantized.That real human emotion in there.Cant but or sell it.It,s priceless.
