Indeed. Other head coaches may recruit as well as Schiano but it seems no head coach does it better.

Schiano's problem has never been recruiting. Glad to see the recruits are better than ever but can he beat the upper echelon teams? Because that has always been his biggest failure.

He needs to stop playing not to lose and start playing to win. Ditch the high school offense. You'll never be taking seriously by the elite if you don't take chances and score points.

Now that the world knows the direction of college football, Rutgers should move to join the ACC. They would have a serious shot at the ACC title every year and would be a lock in the new CFP. Tho being in the BIG has distinct advantages for the Scarlet Knights, the ACC would offer a more advantageous path to the CFP. It will be a struggle forever for Rutgers to consistently compete for a BIG championship and a solid CFP berth. The ACC is also a better regional fit, not that it means anything anymore. Aint going to happen tho. TV money is king.
