I went for some very long walks listening to this man's voice this summer. Some teary eyed, others just trying to find beauty in the things around me. There's really no way to describe it though

This song reminds me that our time is limited. I don't have to let society decide over my life, I want to live my life to the fullest, to be in nature, to be with the ones I love, to love myself and not be consumed by a place, a person or a job that is not making me happy. Having enough money to survive is enough, I don't need all that extra stuff.

He's so effortless playing this... Anyone else trying to play and sing this? It's not easy.

Had the pleasure of seeing Isakov live last night in Sandpoint, Idaho where he played this song. My wife & I hadn’t heard it before and we absolutely loved it. We thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed his entire concert. What a talented musical storyteller. His music always transports me to my happy place.

I remember when I first listened to him a year or two ago, and was surprised by how unknown he was. I'm so proud of how far he's come, and how many people that love his music as much as I do. :'D

I don't work in a tall building but I hate it anyway. This song captures the exact range of emotions that one might feel at different points in life. I totally relate to it. The only thing that motivates you to go to work after a point is money for making the necessary payments which leaves you wondering in the end what the hell did you really do! Beautiful song to introspect on! Great rendition. And an amazing voice!

I discovered Isakov through this video. Now he's one of my favourite artists. I love The Stable Song and Words a lot. Whole album is amazing!

I promised myself I'd never live in the city with those awful cubicles and fast paced life. I intend to keep that, no matter what. I count my blessings seeing a beautiful country sky and sunset instead sitting behind some desk and computers 8 hours a day. Such a sad existence for a life. Song reminds me of friends that do and I think how fast it will go by for us all.

I turned 30 last year and decided to quit a job I was making a lot of money in and travel Colombia, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I learned a lot about myself in many ways, and I learned how to sing and play guitar.. now im going back to Colombia to finish what I started.

I think it would've been great to have seen this on 'The Weatherman'. I know it's a cover of a John Hartford song, but it wouldn't be the first time he's put a cover on his record. "One of Us Cannot Be Wrong" from his last album, 'This Empty Northern Hemisphere', is a Leonard Cohen song. Hopefully he releases this as a single or on his next album, or even an EP.
