This isn’t the first time this incredible group of activists have gathered together. They’ve shared panels at COP26 in Glasgow, an inspiring panel discussion in Southbank this summer, and now… we’ve had the pleasure of having them in our studio for another round of Climate Conversations.

The amount of people who will go through hoops and obstacles just to criticize this young activist is so wild. Any tiny thing that comes to mind, gotta criticize her on it. Y'all gross.

Is there a specific reason there are no male climate activists in those groups? I hope am not missing anything, but have not seen males taking on such initiatives. We are all humans and we should equally participating to those moves!

Still can't believe the amount of negative splash-back from these young women's great initiative (unfortunately, here in the comment section as well 😕)! By raising awareness, they are fighting for all of us, and it is inspiring to see that sort of selflessness!

To be completely fair, IF you're an activist as involved with your cause as greta is, you kind of SHOULD have the answer. Like, regardless of your age. It should be in your manifesto. That should be something you scream for people to do, especially if you're gonna make a video like this (being the face pf this movent). I fully agree with the message, but that was jarring imo.

00:44 says it all. But importantly, did you actually listen to what Greta said? As in the complexity. The headline is possibly not the best, but take care, your/ our human brains will create all kinds of reasons to deny issues. We are all on this 'boat' together. We will ALL suffer in some way or another, even if it is just chemicals in our food and water, general social anxiety, or greater crime in the area, or our taxes going to fight resource wars or fight back refugees.

It is not up to her to have the answer. She is raising the awareness of the problems for the people that have the scientific ability and money to step up and do something.......... that is activism

If she doesnt have the answers, why does she maintain such a high public profile. Can you imagine a presidential candidate saying 'these are the problems, but I don't have any answers'? Would he or she be elected?

As far as I’m concerned. If you are going to make massive changes to our society, such as banning gas vehicles, you MUST have a solution to the problem you’re complaining about.

The European Parliament have a paper discussing how (worst case) 1.2 billion people could become climate refugees by 2050 due to climate change related natural disasters. I'm not sure how many people are dying but unfortunately the global south are really taking the brunt of pollution and deaths are occuring from it :(

@@iz202 so we are going to make one of the biggest economical changes in history (oil to electric) based on a "maybe"? Also this study is centered around us guessing how many natural disasters are going to happen in the next 25 years. Im not saying its wrong but its never a bad idea to question what you hear, especially when it comes from our government or their "experts".

It's weird how strongly you are trying to hold onto the belief that we don't have the answers you're looking for readily available in sooo many varying climate plans. Especially when what you're complaining about is what you're doing in this comment. Like, if all you're gonna do is whine about how there isn't an easy fix, why don't you use that energy to figure out the issues more deeply instead of complaining about it in the RU-vid comments where no one cares at all
