Finally this one! Easily one of my favourites. I’m exited to learn this soon. And btw, no worries for the delay, your well being and the band is just as important!!
ok first of all, your band is AMAZING! the songs on Spotify are fucking awesome and would ROCK to see live. hopefully someday you guys can play in Boston! second of all - thank you for this! so glad you got to meet GVF, and thank you for continuing to share these lessons with us!
i love your tutorials man they are the best for the songs i want to learn. One thing I'd say to improve your videos simply would be to just put a 20-40 second clip of you playing the thing you're about to teach right at the start of the video! As a side effect of being useful to me, it will probably have people click back to the start of your video more, potentially rewatching and keeping retention!
I have the 61 SG custom exactly like Jake's except I didn't get the vibrola because I figured I wouldn't use it much and it would make the guitar go out of tune. but I have to admit the vibrola looks nice.
@@ClayShentrup nice that’s awesome!! Yeah I only dig it for the look, I never use it haha. That’s super cool though, it must be a pretty amazing sounding guitar!
My pleasure! Honestly not sure if I'm going to be able to cover that one (first one I'd have to miss if so) because Jake is using a B bender telecaster to play that riff, and those things are super hard to get your hands on
How did you discover the tuning? I saw an article where jake just said open c, but its clearly not the traditional open c with the high e on the end because that would put it in c major, and ultimate guitar's tab claims that the high e is just tuned to e flat but I hadn't been able to find any info online.
For me it was just listening to the song by ear and working out what fit with it the closest. It may not even be the correct tuning but I found that it's the one that came closest and was the most effective way to play the song!
