Oh my gosh its been forever since I seen this game. I'm sad that they never continued it but, its still great on its own, even to this day.

It’s weird that the roles of the kids are reversed. It’s usually Hansel that saves the day. But instead it’s Gretel helping her useless brother. I like it.

I loved this when I was younger. But I wasn’t good at the puzzles. Going through my internet shock phase, with HTF and that. The graphics still hold up really well and those death scenes damn! Even more brutal in the sequel.

Oh my god you just unlocked a forgotten memory from 2012-2013. I remember being creeped as hell but at the same time amazed by this game. Glad to see Manly is playing it!

_A truly Grimm tale_ This was a classic - so well done with a nice hand-painted look and great music that really suited the game. Best commentary: "I'm not doing this because I feel like doing it...I'm a completionist. I'm sorry" as Hansel slowly dies, being hit again & again. :D Can't wait for the second part!

Omg, I remember watching someone else play this a _long time ago._ I sometimes wondered whatever happened to this game ... --- Why do the parents even _need_ to send off their children into the woods to die, it seems their own property has enough dangerous shit to kill them more effectively. --- 13:46 - Well geez, what's even the point of sending them off into the woods if you're more than happy to simply send an axe to their head?

This game had the most nerve racking and chilling atmosphere. The style and visuals alone make it so grim and haunting that you feel like you're watching an adult swim cartoon, only much dark and scarier. The mother herself without words but grunts makes you fear for these children. The somber music and tune horned ambient brings that sense of uncertainty. You have no clue what happens or how will it end. These kids are on the run and are all alone, ready to be slaughtered by mother nature's cruelty. It makes you wonder why Disney think it was good to turn grim stories like these into kid-friendly epic tales of magic and fairytale wonder.

Very nostalgic game. There is a part 2 but no part 3 (I assume it's the Witch's house), this game is so good, sucks they stopped developing this game. I do hope that someone finish this. ☹️

ITS SO GOOD! I REMEMBER THIS GAME SO WELL AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THE AESTHETIC! I dont think the creator finished the series but for what its worth, it still is an amazing game and story 😭💕

Duuude i used to be a fan of this game when i was 11 I had a couple nightmares about the second one but i found it so interesting back then, it was one of the best flash games in armor games

This game has been haunting me for years!!!! I played it as a kid and I remember the uneasy feeling I had while playing it and I never knew the name!!!

Frankly I like this more than Rusty Lake. This one actually has that old school feeling and a sense of unreality that only a different era can provide. I like it a lot.

I loved these games so much. I still think about them sometimes, and dearly hope for a part 3 one day. Id gladly pay for it. My favorite thing about it is, despite no dialogue, its so precious how you can tell that Gretel dearly loves her brother and will stop at nothing to save both of them. Hansel is a good boy too, so thick headed and sweet. Also, Manly should play the "Alice is Dead" series! Its so good. I played it so many times ^^
