I know I’ve posted the same comment over the years but this night seriously changed my life! The vocals, guitar and that sax solo! I said I need to be a musician too!
Absolutely. I’ve heard quite a few of them and this has to be the best in my opinion. Great quality and the tempo is a little slower than they do it now. It’s right in the pocket here.
Wow. Thanks so much for uploading this! My favorite version of this song. I've been listening to this audio for some time and have been dying to see the actual video. It's even got Dave's reference to the "Taste of Chicago" food festival which was going on nearby. Thanks again!
There's a stranger, speaks outside her door Says, "Take what you can from your dreams Make them as real as anything Oh, it'll take the work out of the courage"
"Oh there's a voice comes in from outside her door Says, "Take what you can from your Dreams. Make them as Real as anything. It'll take the work out of the Courage" She then pleads, "Oh there's a crazy man that's creeping outside my door. I live on the corner of Grey Street and the End of the World" -H-
I never thought about it - but saw the screenshot of UTTAD - is Grey Street (or this version at least), meant to be about Anne's daughter? Makes sense now when I listen in that context.
