You people that are so quick to bash obviously haven’t watched this team play before. They weren’t celebrating the fact that it’s the 7 or 8th goal....its the WAY it was scored. How many players can do that?! Keep celebrating Greyhounds all the way to the finals!! Howdeshell and Heyton....you guys rocked!!
i remember watching the playoffs in my garage and at the essar center and when we lost to the bulldogs i was so disappointed these 2 goals showcased what unbelievable skill this team had
you'd prolly celly too if you scored a lacrosse goal and a btl goal. otherwise i never knew it was crowned upon to celly after a highlight reel play like that.
AnonyRonny like there going to blow a series lead.. They are playing the youngest team in the league. Also there record in the regular season is 55 and 7 losses I don’t think they will blow a series lead against an unexperienced playoff team.
For anyone saying it was disrespectful of the hounds... The entire series 55 Middleton and a few others were being nothing but assholes. The hounds beat them on the scoreboard where it counts. Beyond that, this is playoff hockey, if you can send your opponent home crying, you do it. Suck it up.
Was it classless? Maybe. However what concerns me more is the defense giving up in the game. They literally left that goalie out to dry. The reason why you don't see goals like this everyday, let alone back to back is that defences actually play. True the greyhounds are older and more skilled, but these players are all hopeful pros one day, and there probaby Scouts watching, and what will they report? Did they play and lose in a blow out? Yes. Do they play the full 60 minutes? No
Can't deny the skill, I seriously question the sportsmanship. Try those moves when its 1-1 in overtime and you will have my respect. I hope the coaching staff tuned them in!
JJ Dueck I dont understand canadian hockey culture on this one. How it is classless? I mean when I played in u20 finnish junior leagues we celebrated every goal like champs. What is wrong with havimg good time on ice??
hello there folks Who cares? Their young and their having fun? You know you only get to play 4-5 years in this league. Like stop complaining that they are celebrating goals that they earned.
Learning a bit of humility and respect for other players would go a lot further in their development as players, and as human beings, than letting them showboat like this.
Reason why fighting is a huge aspect of hockey that takes care of this disrespect. Beautiful goals and love to see the skill but there is also an unwritten rule book that is slowly going away with the lack of fights
These guys are not classless, they are in the play offs & the refferees were not making calls, they were extremely brutal, two of the Greyhound's got bloody mouths from high sticks & no calls were made & that was early in the game!! Didn't your mothers ever teach you....if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything!!!
Carl Stitzen I would not sy classless but they just look like idiots celebrating like that at 8-0. The score itself is the best demonstration of their talent. No need to act like you won the cup.
Which is why I blame the coaches not the kids. Of course kids this age are going to continue to score and show off, it's the coaches that should be teaching them to have some class and not showboat when the game is already over. Learning some humility and respect for other players isn't a bad thing.
Just be because they’re U20 doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have class. Just ridiculous that they celebrate like this every goal, shows the way the game is changing.
