I would be heartbroken if I kept showing up for someone constantly and then they gave up on me just like that. Break up or not I still feel that Nico was extremely mean to Levi when he went through the same. I actually feel a break up is more forgivable than insulting someone so much.

I went through med school and it’s downright annoying. I get enough drama at work. I want someone at home to nap with, not get on a soap box. a good day is a day without drama both at work or home. Means fewer people need a doctor and can be their best.
The dullest character in the show ever. This is Nico's 4 season in the show and all we know about him is that he's an orthopedic fellow(how is he *still* a fellow? I don't know), gay(and hiding it from his parents), and asian. The last detail we only know because he can't hide it. The writers literally did nothing to develop his character and he's basically only there to be Levi's on and off boyfriend. So, I don't hate him, I just don't feel anything towards him.

Nico haters are always looking for a chance to slander him and the show's writers give a lot of those to them tbh, but I beg to differ. This time around, Nico deserved an apology from Levi. After telling Nico to "Go away" several times and something as extreme as "Don't come back, we're done"- how could Levi expect Nico to keep showing up when he made it so explicitly clear that he didn't want him to come back??? Please don't invalidate Nico's feelings to sympathise with Levi because Nico has every right to be upset. I'm not denying that Nico has also made mistakes in the past or said rude things. He may have insulted Levi after losing his patient in S15 but he hadn't dumped Levi over it. Even whatever he said to Levi during their first break-up cannot top what Levi said to him during the latest break-up. Not to mention that it came out of nowhere because they were completely happy together before Levi killed Devon in surgery. Nico had absolutely nothing to do with Devon dying and yet Levi pushed him away more than anyone else. Nico has showed up for him many times even during the pandemic when they weren't officially together - lest y'all have forgotten. And he would have done so after Devon's death too if Levi had let him instead of cutting him out of his life so harshly. Levi may have been in pain or whatever but if he felt sane enough to resume work so quickly then he should also have apologised to Nico first thing instead of giving him a random, self-contradictory speech in the elevator. Levi always expects Nico to show grand love gestures, and when Nico finally started doing that (the candle scene from 17x16????!!)- what did he get in return? Levi didn't even commit himself to moving in with Nico despite the grand gesture and continued staying at the loft with Helm. Yet Nico never questioned him or doubted his intentions. Only to get dumped so brutally later for no fault of his when he was really trying to change to become worthy of his love. No this is not done. Levi has to love him for who he is and respect his differences and if he can't then he should find someone else instead of burdening Nico with the weight of his unrealistic expectations. Nico Kim deserves better. Period.

What the heck lol I've seen a lot about them (despite not watching the show as a whole) so there's a small chance I'm missing part of the bigger picture but like. So many people are so quick to jump to "whoever is in the right" "whoever deserves better" "whoever is worse" and like. Y'all, I won't say they're a super healthy couple, but from what I've seen NO ONE is in this show so we'll ignore that part, apparently that's just how relationships work in that universe. But besides that, they've both made mistakes and they've both been subject to bad writing and they both have points! Nico probably could have done more, but he also deserves an apology. Honestly, I was surprised when this wasn't one lol. I'm just saying, chill out a bit, they're mostly equal here xd.

Nico deserves an apology from Levi. Levi told Nico to go away multiple times and then broke up with him. And now Levi upset with Nico because Nico stopped visiting him. Nico didn’t do anything wrong he was only supporting his boyfriend Levi who was going through a tough time and Levi pushed Nico away. At least Nico didn’t break up with Levi when he lost his patient and a few days later Nico found Levi and apologized to him.

Okay but these two were toxic from the start. Nico only wanted Levi for sex. The only reason they tried again was because they were the only gay men in each other's proximity. Having said that, however, I don't get why Levi got mad at Nico for doing what he told him to do. Language is there to communicate. Everyone in this show toxic, the writers don’t know to write drama for Nico and Levi. Also, outside that one shady gap of time, when did Nico just want sex with the guy. It maybe they were ones there, but it was pretty the obvious they feelings for each other still. Agree with Levi tho. People saying Levi has go by Nico’s way, that because he said it. A non-verbal thing, Nico is always has to be the one to change in the end. It isn’t just Nico is abusive Levi. And considering the timeline, idk if I would outright call them toxic.
